Today we went out to the park,
we followed my little brother's plan.
We scoured the streets and crossroards,
till we finally met up with a man.
We asked him where we need to go.
And where we should stop to play.
And he told us 5 blocks up and then turn,
if we just found a blocked pathway.
So we walked up anxiously to the playground,
As we forced up a smile through the heat,
even though our hearts were determined,
We were honestly murdering our feet.
So we surpassed the swealtering sun,
we saw the park and began to run,
we jumped up for joy when we saw the swings,
and I chased my little brother as we heard the little girls sing.
And then we saw it.
Big, provoking and intricate.
Practically begging us to enter.
you would've done this action if you were about to swealter.
So I picked up my skateboard,
readied it next to my feet.
Calculated my outcome,
and imagined it to be sweet.
And I made a title of my action,
And I know it may make me sound like a brat.
But right at the tip of my head,
I called it, "Because I'm cool like that"
So I lay my left on end,
and smiled in anticipation,
but unfortunately for my performance,
all I acheived was humiliation.
I should've stopped at that point,
but I just couldn't stop.
So I kept going through the array of sprinklers,
and each time I dropped.
After all the ache's from my body I limped,
wondering why I hadn't cried.
But instead of going home and cleaning myself up,
I was instead sundried.
