A place where the lovely paitience can sit and enjoy themselves. A place for peace and serenity, away from all the commotion.

Lilith needed an escape, the hallways were to loud with people she thought less of. They were all truly insane. She believed herself to be the only sane one. So she needed to leave. The airing grounds was perfect quiet and peaceful. Only a few patience scattered around. It was not loud, it was simply perfect. All her life she was surrounded by sound. Noises made her feel unpleasant. Her father was a loud man when ever she did tests. The rehabilitation center was loud and crowded by noisy monsters that couldn't get a hold of them selves. Noise meant trouble, and trouble meant black outs filled with pain. She makes her way out of the loud corridor and into the quiet paradise. She moves towards the center. Approaching the wooden arch in the center. Looking around, it seemed to only be her in the middle. She takes a seat in the middle of the arch. "My, my this place is better looking then the inside." She crosses her fingers and places them on her knees. "Clara's Home truly does not compare to such a place." (She is referring to the facility before this one it is know as Clara's Home for Troubled Women.) "I had wished that nurse didn't approach me in such a way. I was not in my right mind." She smiles joyfully. "But at l least they learned their lesson." Lilith looks up to the sky. "Oh only a little birds in the sky today. How strange."

This place was going to be the death of Athena. They already had to wear these dreadful outfits. It felt like there was no real order to this place. There were messes all around her it seemed. It drove her crazy, but if she knew that if she started to try to do something about it, they would try and stop her. But she felt like she needed to. She needed to get out of the building and now. She needed fresh air. Maybe that would help her calm down a little bit and keep her out of crisis. She fiddled with her bracelet that she kept hidden and closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. It was her solace in this toxic land of sin. Okay, maybe that was a bit far, but that's still how she felt in this situation. She couldn't believe that her aunt dropped her off here. How could she do that to her? Just because she wasn't in-tune with her feelings and liked counting everything. That made her crazy? No, her aunt was the crazy one. She blamed her. Her aunt was always the one to have a super clean house. It was always required to be clean. That's what started it all. It had to be. She groaned. The teen just wanted to go home and go to the gardens and pick a fresh bouquet for her aunt like she did every night. She sighed as she stepped outside. The air smelled nice and fresh out here. There were flowers everywhere. Different kinds. She was going to count them all, maybe that would put her mind at ease. Which should she count first though? Kinds of flowers? Numbers of flowers? Numbers of leaves on each flower? The possibilities were endless! It made her so excited. This is how she was going to plan on spending her free time from here on. Counting. Something that put her at ease. She started to head into the gardens with a fresh new vibe. Athena heard a voice. A woman's voice. Was it a patient? Or a nurse? She would have to find out. She followed the voice and noticed a woman standing there looking up at the sky and commenting on the birds. Should I say hello, she thought, that would be the right thing to do. I need to at least say hello. Her aunt always taught her that greeting was kind and she should always try to make new friends. The young woman cleared her throat before speaking, "Uhm, hello?" She didn't want to startle the woman and certainly hoped she hadn't

Lilith takes a seat under the arch. Her peace was instantly interrupted by the sound of a beautiful, innocent voice. But in Lilith's sociopathic mind it was more of an unsweet annoyance. She had finally got a sweet taste of serenity just to have it taken away by a dalcop. "They probably don't even know their own name" She thought to herself. The cruel woman mumbles to herself, "But I must make a good impression even if it kills me." She turns to the gobermouch of a child. "Hello there little chavy. You seem to be much different then the tails here." As she spoke you can here the ounce of Irish in her voice. The accent seemed to be fading, but still recognizable. "I don't have a yennap for you. Maybe go ask your mother." She faces away and sighs. The girl seems to just stand there. "What are you a patient here. How strange. You don't look like...." She thinks for a moment. "What do the men doctors say. Hmm yes I believe a whore is what they call us." She tilts her head down. " I for one am not one, but they insist we are. Oh look at me rambling. Please speak you are looking more like a dew-beater just standing there quietly." OOC: I wanted to get more into the era so I used some of the words they would use. Dalcop: Dull person Gobermouch: An Irish word for a nosy person Chavy: Child Yennap: Penny Dew-Beater: someone who drawls or speaks indistinctly They are mostly rude words mainly because Lilith is a rude person. (Sooooo sorry.)

Athena noticed her accent right away. Irish was it? More than likely, but it sounded like it was fading. Though, no one completely loses their accents, right? She always thought the Irish sounded cool. She listened as the woman insulted her, completely unfazed by it. She looked at her, her interest starting to lack. No, you need to stay focused. "I'm only standing here because I am waiting for you to finish speaking," she said, "It's the polite thing to do." She inclined her head at the woman. It was obvious that she didn't want to talk to her, so she wasn't going to waste her time because that was something she disliked doing. "Since I am seemingly unwanted here, I will take my leave, if that is what you wish," she stated, looking the woman in the eye, almost challenging her. She didn't feel insulted, just bored. Humans were boring. They were all the same. Rude, nice. They all had certain categories that they went into. This woman was just crude. She wasn't about to try to be nice to someone who wasn't going to try to be nice back. OOC: Sorry for the short reply, something came up.

Lilith squinted at the young girl, a blatant judgment within her eyes. If someone was phased by such small words, oh lord would she not last a second in the world beyond these walls. It almost amused her. Blackwell flashed a quiet smile, eyeing the girl like a predator would prey. What a plain girl she thought, no bright features or vibrant aspects, she would go unnoticed anyways. No challenge there. "You're not one for conversation, I can tell. Scampering off like a little rabbit against fire; why not stay and watch the show for a little while." Lilith quipped through her smile, marking each feature on the girl's face. "It'd put some dirt under those sad eyes." She cut off their eye-contact short, and stared at the bloom of ivy. What a boring color she thought green was, but it managed to calm her down. "You'll get no where if you run from all your battles little chavy." Ohh, what would the world do without Big sister Lilith, she was a hero to these girls~ or at least she was certainly going to try being so. There's nothing like a little comfort knowing you're not a target in a sea of wolves. "Listen, I'm not here to make enemies but by this green earth I am certainly not here to make weak-willed friends. But today I'm feeling a little generous, so consider yourself lucky. How about we start over, hmm? "

Athena was sizing the girl up, judging her as well. She wasn't sure if she liked the woman or not. She sparked a small interest, but she wasn't sure if it was initial curiosity or genuine interest. The woman was right, Athena wasn't one for conversation because she found the majority of conversation boring because the same thing every time. It was always something about how the other is and what the weather is like then just small talk. She wasn't a small talker. She preferred the friends who could read her mind almost. But, from what she gathered, those would have to be best friends, which she didn't have. She gathered that in order to obtain a best friend she would have to sit through many, many boring conversations that she'd rather not waste her time on. She really did try to sit through those dull conversations, but it was near impossible. "I wasn't aware we were fighting," she stated simply. She wasn't a runner or a fighter. If she didn't want to do something, she simply walked away. It's not fear or anger, it's just disinterest. If she doesn't care, she won't do it. She looked at the woman up and down and considered her offer. "I don't see why not," she said. Yeah, starting off might be better. Maybe she can try the whole 'conversation' thing again the way her aunt taught her to do. It was just so hard. She couldn't find a way to put any care or emotion in to the words. She looked down at one of the flowers and counted the petals. Eight. Good. Then I should try to mend this. Eight is always good. She took a deep breath, closing her eyes as she did so. She put on a large smile and looked at the woman. "Yes, let's start again. I do believe we have started off on the wrong food. I struggle with showing emotion sometimes, so I apologize," she said with a smile. She was a very good actor, which is why her aunt stopped being on her case. It helped having a small interest in the theatre departments.

Lilith smiles with ease. See this isn't so bad, she thought to herself. "I do apologize as well, I did not mean for my words to harm you in anyway." She places her hand on her shoulder. "Why is such a young lass, like yourself, in such a horrible place like this." She gazes at the entrance to the corridor. "You seem perfectly fine to me. A little chavy gets locked away because she is very unique." The cruel woman laughs to herself. "Have I heard that before. Being crazy is not bad, being crazy means you are not like any other." Lilith despises the word she spoke so nonchalantly. "Frankly I despise the word myself. But it is better then the word whore. Do you enjoy the word? Of course you do not. No woman does." Lilith could tell she was rambling and could not help it. She was a bit nervous due to seeing a nurse leaving the corridor. Upon the arrival of the nurse Lilith stands quickly. "What do you want? We are not doing anything wrong." The nurse tries to calm down Lilith. "Please Ms. Blackwell I am only here to escort you to Dr. Haste. It is time for you exam and health check. He must check you." "Why do I need a check up. Haven't the ladies at the old facility tell you about my state of mind?" Ms. Blackwell crosses her arms and steps slightly back. "Just come this way please." "Alright I'll go." She turns to the young girl. "Let us continue our conversation when we see each other again. Good bye little chavy." She walks away with the nurse behind her. It makes her feel very uncomfortable. OOC: Sorry for this suuuuper late response I have had somethings come up along with me trying to find the perfect words to say. And when I cam back it was Lilith's turn to go to see the good doctor.

Marleena sat on a bench, it was old and worn out like most of the things in this place. Here in the airing ground and in the garden were the only places where the voices would stop. It was no longer the people in the floor boards that would bother her. No, her dormitory wasn't on the ground level. They weren't able to burrow in the ground like at her home in Germany. Now they were walking freely among her and the other patients; Marleena would see their shadows passing in the night. She kept trying to tell the other patients, however; they never listened. They would yell at her and call her a liar. The thought frustrated Marleena; while she was sitting she began to rub her thighs nervously. "Lügner" She whispered to herself "That's what these girls think of me." Marleena inhaled deeply and smiled to herself "I'll just have to prove I'm not a liar." Marleena watched as the pretty girl and the older woman were talking amongst themselves not long after they began to speak to each other, Marleena watched as the older woman got taken away for her examination by Doctor Haste. Marleena shivered to herself; she dreaded the thought of going to see the doctor. There were many rumors circling the good doctors name, however; they were rumors that Marleena did not want to find out for herself. OOC: Lügner means liar in German

Athena listened to the older woman ramble. It amused her a little bit. She liked the way she spoke. She nodded at the right places and shook her head at others. Then she asked why she was here. She was about to answer when the woman claimed that they were not crazy, just unique. The young girl had never saw it that way before. Maybe they were just unique and others couldn't really understand how to cope with it. They just needed a little extra attention, right? Not that bad. Then the woman had to leave for her check up wit the doctor. She nodded. "Until next time." She waved her goodbye. I'll be looking forward to it, she thought to herself. She liked the way the woman spoke. No small talk, just straight to the point and mostly spoke herself. Athena didn't mind just sitting there listening. It was when she had to talk about herself that was difficult. Athena knew that it was going to be a while until she saw the doctor. Her last name was Zimmer and they were more than likely going in alphabetical order, so who knew how long it was going to be until it was finally her turn. She sighed. Now what was she to do? She didn't want to go inside because there wasn't much in there and it was nice and refreshing out here. The young woman turned around to look around the garden, feeling another presence there. Lo and behold, she spotted someone on a worn bench not far from her. Might as well go and talk to her. She slowly made her way over to her, not to approach to fast, lingering to smell flowers here and there. Count petals, leaves, thorns. It was actually a little while before she actually reached the young woman. She looked at her. They looked like they were around the same age. A friend her age would be good for her, especially in this place. She noticed the girl talk to herself. Should she still approach her? She didn't fear her, she just didn't want to upset the other. She paused for a moment before going with the benefit of the doubt. She finally reached the other girl and smiled sweetly. "Hello, miss." She would've sat next to her on the bench, but she was afraid that it was going to shatter the moment she sat on it herself. She didn't want to hurt herself or the other girl either. "I'm Athena. What's your name?" OOC: It's perfectly fine! I understand things happen :D

Marleena continued to rub her thighs but now instead of doing it because she was worked up, she was doing it because she needed to smooth the wrinkles she caused on her dress. Mother always taught her to look prim and proper, for you can never expect when you need to look your best. While thinking about her mom her brows went from furrowed to a more softened calm look. She missed her family; they had only visited once since she had been dropped off here and even then her father didn't come because he was still upset with her and the whole incident that got her sent here. She began to chew her chapped lips when her thoughts were broken she looked up and with kind of a shocked look; Marleena quickly shook off her shock and smiled softly at the girl that had greeted her. She was the girl that had been speaking with the older woman previously. Involuntarily she scooted away to give herself and the girl some more space "Hello." She continued her soft smile "I am Marleena. It is a pleasure to meet you." her slight German accent began to poke through her words. Marleena was nervous. She usually took up more of an observing roll, she liked to watch people interact with each other; this way she could learn things about them with out them knowing. But, many people steered clear of her because of her reputation as a liar and because a lot of her stories made patients nervous or anxious.

As Athena walked over to the girl, she assessed her carefully. She was a beautiful girl. Her brown hair and eyes were very pretty. She was kind of jealous. Her hair was just straight without any wave to it. And since this place was dull, it made her hair the same dull feeling. There was no volume to her own hair anymore and it kind of made her a little mad. She mentally shook her head. We're focusing on her, she thought. The pretty girl looked nervous about something and not exactly happy to see Athena. She could pin point right there that she wasn't a fan of people. Which was understandable. People were, more or less, a waste of time because they're all boring. Though, from her experience here thus far, all of the girls had been rather...interesting. It made it worth talking to them. Her mind began to wander again. She wondered what this girl was in for. She, herself, didn't even really know why she was in here. SHe noticed the girl scoot away when she arrived, so she stepped back a space. She didn't want to frighten the poor girl, though it would've been quite funny. Then the girl said her name. "Marleena," she spoke, sounding amused. It suited her well. A beautiful name for a beautiful girl. "Well, Marleena, it's very nice to meet you too. You have a very beautiful name." She smiled at her. She also noticed the slight accent in her voice. Swedish? No...Austrian! No...that was still too different. Ah, German. That's what it was.

Marleena looked at the girl and took in all of her features she was thin and had long straight hair. Marleena subconsciously looked down at her own curly mane of hair; since being here it had gotten harder to up keep as she didn't have the same luxuries as she did at her home in Germany. She started to smooth out the drab uniform that covered her legs and sighed. She wasn't very good at talking to people. Marleena smiled nervously "Thank you. Athena, the goddess of wisdom and courage. You are wise and courageous, yes?" Marleena looked down at her legs and bit her lip. She hadn't made too many friends here and kept to herself a majority of the time. Most of the other girls thought she was a liar and too nosey for her own good. The last one was the truer of the two rumors about her. Marleena looked at the hem of her uniform; the uniform engulfed her due to her losing a lot of weight her first month or two here. She refused to eat anything; however she quickly changed her mind when she realized that the food wasn't going to change, nor were her living conditions.

Athena turned a light shade of pink once she was called a goddess. It was true, she was named after her, but no one had ever called her a goddess. She shook it off. She was blushing for no reason. There was no need for her to become embarrassed by that in any way. She cocked her head slightly to the side, pondering the question that had been asked of her. "Uhm. I think I am. I do give wondrous advice sometimes and I'm never afraid to try something new." More or less. She gave advice all the time and people always asked for her opinion. Was it the best? She wasn't certain. She would be tooting her own horn if she said yes. She did like adventure and trying new things, but there were some boundaries that she had. She's courageous, but in a smart way. Always thinking her way about the situation before diving in. Athena noticed the other girl's thin frame. Was she not eating? She needed to eat. The young girl decided right then and there that she was going to help this girl as much as she could Take her under her wing, take care of her, the likes. She smiled at the girl kindly. "So, how long have you been here?" she asked. "You don't have to answer because I'm mostly just wondering if you knew of anything to do around here other than sit here until we actually do become insane." She chuckled a little at her own joke and smiled.

Marleena smiled a little and ran a hand through her frizzy hair and thought about how she wished she wasn't so afraid of everything or 'paranoid' as the doctors here put it. "I have been here almost a year. I don't leave my room much though." She laughed a little looking down at her pale arms. "Not many people here like me. They think I am a liar." Marleena rubbed her arms and smiled a little. No one here truly thought they were insane, she just was a little different is all; she saw and heard things that weren't there, however Marleena truly believed they were. It caused her more harm than good the hallucinations were what got her sent here in the first place. They seemed to cause her endless trouble and frustration. "I mean sometimes I read, but I mostly stay here or in my room." Marleena chewed on her lower lip it was dry and cracked from the stale air inside their living quarters. She looked down at her feet and thought about what other things there were to do around this place and she honestly couldn't think of any. Marleena looked over at her new friend "Have you any ideas?" she asked.
