links you to oekaki page

This took me around an hour and a half to do and, as you've probably noticed, I'm never
good with backgrounds. If this was on photoshop I would have cropped it to lessen the
negative space. Sadly, on oekaki, you can't do that unless you really want to fuss with
carefully changing the canvas size to your wanted size and risking your browser not
saving your last drawn image.

See, I do plan out the composition before I start. When I try to sketch out a background I
can't come up with anything that doesn't make it look cluttered.
Do you think it works with the white space or should I add something in the background?

I happen to think the white space goes with it very well. The only thing that is
bothering me is the shirt is also white.
I suggest a very pale color. Maybe a pale blue, or brown?

I can't sketch out background. It comes to me. I usually go with a color scheme (if
there's a background at all -_-'') but otherwise for this piece the white background is
Clutter can be okay, but only if the main point in the picture/oekaki is eye-catching.
Like you probably know, backgrounds aren't meant to steal the attention away from the main
point, it's to balance it out, or create a nice chemistry between the two.

Cropping is a pain in MY ass, so I just don't do it. Cx
Since this is the stupid oekaki program, I can let go of someone not cropping.

You're art makes me wan to scream because I love it so much. *A*

I bet you don't know what I'm lololing about.
