what it is:

a list like our other lists, friendslist, etc. that you can type in their user name or
enter it in...no need to make another button....just make this one simple by having to
type in their name..

what it does:

- blacklists the person preventing communication

- prevents the person from seeing whether you are online/your online status (whether or
not you have that option selected) (in other words you may want to show your friends/the
public youre online but not this person who is stalking you)

- prevents this person from being able to Subscribe to your publications...which one can
do even if one has been blacklisted by another....

- makes all of your Kupipages/diary entries private/hidden with respect to this person on
your Anti-Stalker List

- prevents this person from seeing what Clubs you have joined (at a minimum it hides your
clubs section on your profile page...but ideally it would somehow hide your membership in
the Club's membership list itself from this person)

- prevents them from seeing your Oekakis/makes them all private...(but seems less of a
concern for somereason idk and idk how that would work if your Oekaki went to "popular"
status..maybe they would be able to see the thumnails but be blocked from viewing the
oekaki page itself)

- ideally it would make your posts in FT hidden with respect to this person but that might
be tricky coding or not possible...

- ideally too, it would be good if once the person is in your ASList that, they couldnt
even see your profile at all...not sure if that is feasible either...
...............

so is it doable? hard or easy to implement? and a good idea?

It's a good idea :D

it does seem a lil bit tricky to implement, though :/

Hm.. it is a great idea. Not sure how hard it would be though. (Because I know nothing
about computers. xD)I hope it's not too hard, because that would be awesome. :D

Unfortunately, those features could be circumvented simply by creating a new account.

Private profiles (like Friendster, Myspace etc) are technically possible but I am still
thinking about the +/- of it.

thats true, but i think once the stalker,if the stalker, approached the person again
under a diff profile then they just have add the new name to the list...

that seems like less inconvenience than dealing with it.

though also this doesnt seem like a major problem on kupika....so cost benefit of it may
not make it worth it right now

Pretty good idea. Though you can just tell the stalker to back off or you'll report
him/her to hina.

That's only possible if you know who the stalker is. What if you don't know?

Currently all profiles are public.
Anyone can see other people's profiles, clubs etc.

I am still thinking about the +/- of enabling private profiles.

ive made several new accounts to get away from certain people, and its really hard. i
have to copy/paste all my diary entries to the new account, copy/paste my friends list,
and my kupipages, and my profile. and yet they still find me!

They might find you because you copy your diaries and KupiPages ^^;
