Since I have writer's block...I decided to start a new story. Tell me what you think...

I walked down the studio. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I was on the set for the new
movie, Peace Love and Happiness. I just couldn’t believe it. I mean just
yesterday I was a normal 16 year old girl with straight dirty blond hair that goes to my
shoulders and lived in a small city in IL. Well, before I go on I should back up to where
I just turned 16.
“Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to dear Crystal! Happy
birthday to you!” signed everyone that was at my sweet 16. I blew out the candles.
“Oh, Crystal before I cut the cake you got to come outside,” said my mom.
“But Mrs. Reed we were just about to eat the awesome cake you made!” yelled my friend
Josh.
“Oh, but I think you can wait,” said my mom. I got up from my chair and walk out the
door only to find a blue car sitting there.
“Oh, mom! This is wonder!!!” I yell.
“I knew you would like it!”
“I don’t like it…I love it!” My mom laughs at the joke.
“Sweetie, you got to know something though…”
“What? That we are moving? Because I so do not want to move!”
	“No…your dad paid for it.”
“What? The dad who doesn’t even pay child support!” My mom just nods.
“He got a new job…and he felt really bad.”
“Well, good thing I just got my drivers licenses today!” My mom laughs again.
“Mrs. Reed…let’s cut the cake now!” yells someone inside. Then my step dad walks
outside.
“Listen Crystal…I hope you have a good time, because I have to go…you know work
calls,” said my step dad.
“Bye!” I see him drive away while we go back inside, and sit down to eat. Then I open
my presents. I got a lot of clothes, and a new cell phone from my mom. That day seemed so
happy. Then it got worst. After a week from my birthday, my mom got well kind of sad. I
felt really bad for her, and even asked what was wrong. She would say nothing. Then one
night while I was sleeping in our over sized house I heard my mom and step dad arguing.
Then bang! My mom got a divorce from him, and we had to move again. Luckily it was only
down the street at the poor side of the neighborhood. My mom had found a job, but it
wasn’t good enough to pay for the house. I decided I needed a job, so I could be by my
friends. Yes, at 16 and two weeks, I started working.
“Wait? So you can’t hang out on weekdays, and only half of the day on weekends?”
asked my friend, Anna.
	“Yep,” I said.
	“So where are you working?”
“At the lemonade stand in the mall.”
	“That place?”
“Yeah, it pays me 10 bucks an hour.”
	“That is pretty good.”
	“Yep, I know.”
“So, I guess we will see you in school and on the weekends.”
	“Yep…”
	“Bye!”
	“Bye!”
Okay, at that point I whished I hadn’t done this. I mean I just wanted to stay with my
friends, but I could always call them that are if our phones don’t get taken away. My
mom said that it was great me wanting to help, but I didn’t have to.
I started working at the mall. I kept my grades up at school, too. I even talked with my
friends, and saw movies with them, too. They were the best! They even paid for my ticket.
I mean I felt bad, but they said it was their treat to me. Then bang! Yes, again another
surprised hit me. It was a Saturday, and I didn’t have to go to work for a couple of
hours. My friends and I were at the mall sitting at the café.
“Okay, Crystal get all of us our smoothies!” said Anna.
	“Oh, it’s my turn again?”
“No, but if you do I will pay for yours,” said my other friend, Chloe.
“Fine,” I said while taking the money from my friends. Then I got in line. The line
was really long, and only one person was working there. Then a couple people got behind
me. There was this one boy right behind me, and he started talking to me.
“Do you think I will get one before one?” asked the boy. He looked like my age. He
had blond hair, and kind of long, but not that long.
“Don’t know…it also looks like she doesn’t know what she is doing.” Then, 30
minutes pass by, and by now I need to be at work in an hour. My friends come up.
“What is taking so long?” asked Anna.
	“Don’t know!” I said.
“Maybe you should work here,” said the boy behind me. Normally I would not care, but
that is not nice.
	“That’s not nice!” I said.
“Well, I am just saying. You girls don’t look like you worked a day in your life.”
“If only you knew,” said Chloe. I gave her a look.
“So wait. You guys are telling me you guys work…some how I can’t see that
happening.”
“Oh, we don’t work, but Crystal does,” said Anna while pointing to me. I gave her a
look, too.
“Speaking of my work I better go,” I said while getting out of line.
“But you still have an hour!” said Anna.
“Yeah, an hour to walk over there,” I said.
“Just down the hall,” said Chloe.
“Fine, but if I am late I am blaming you two.”
“Don’t worry this line isn’t going to take that long,” said my friend, Rachel,
who doesn’t talk much.
	“Huh?” I said.
“Look around you…people walking…people in line...”
“Get to the point!” we all yelled.
“Sam Cooper!” yelled Rachel. I gave her a look, and then everyone looked to us.
Rachel pointed to the boy behind us. Then every girl ran over there! It was like a mad
house. Then I saw his people run over there. I started to laugh, and walked right up to
the counter.
“Sorry, but we are closed!” said the girl behind the counter and ran over to where
Same Cooper was.
“Aw! Come on just because he is famous doesn’t mean you have to close!” I yell.
“Well, maybe you don’t have to work either,” said Anna.
“Yeah, right,” I said. We then walked to my work. I saw that there was no note from
my boss. I decided to just start. I mean I had nothing better to do.
“We are going to see him!” said all my friends while running back where he was. I sat
there thinking why would a famous actor be here, and then I heard the phone ring. I had to
answer it, because there was nobody else.
“Hello, this is the lemonade stand in Westchester Mall…how may I help you?” I said
in the phone.
“What are you doing working? You need to get Sam Cooper to try the lemonade!” said my
boss.
	“What?”
“Or you are fired!” Then she hung up on me.

I wrote some more of it, but tell what you guys REALLY think. Like if it needs more
detail or less talking. You tell me! Thanks!

“Or you are fired!” Then she hung up on me. I really didn’t want to go
there! How could get a famous actor to drink the lemonade? It wasn’t even good lemonade.
It had too much of lemon taste, and not enough sugar. I decided to grab a small for him,
and filled it up. Then I walked to where everyone was trying to get things signed by him.
I walked up there.
	“Hey!” I said to Anna.
“Oh, good you don’t have to work!”
“No, I have to…this is part of my job.”
	“Huh?” said Chloe.
“I have to make him drink this,” I said while pointing to the lemonade.
“He won’t drink that!” said Rachel.
	“How do you know?”
“His lest favorite drink is lemonade…and his favorite is strawberry smoothie.”
“Is that what he is drinking right now?” asked Anna.
	“Yep,” said Rachel.
“Great…what am I suppose to do? Shove this in his face?” I asked.
	“You could…” said Chloe.
“Then I would lose my job! Wait…I would lose it if I don’t make him drink it
anyways.”
	“Really?” asked Anna.
“It’s not something to be proud of!” I said.
	“I know…”
“Come on girls…lets get a T-shirt, so he could sign that, because I don’t want this
shirt to get messy,” said Chloe.
“Fine…I will come, too,” I said while walking to the nearest clothes shop. We all
got white t-shirts.
“Great…this lemonade is getting cold…I might have to get a new one,” I said.
“Run back, and we will meet you at the line,” said Anna.
“Good idea!” I said while running back to the lemonade stand. I turned the corner
fast, and then bam! I could smell strawberries, and I felt something wet on my t-shirt. I
looked down, and then I looked to the person I just ran into…Sam Cooper.
“What did you just do!?” I yelled.
“It wasn’t my fault!” he yelled back.
	“Really? Then who is it?”
	“Yours!”
	“How?”
“You turned the corner a little too fast!”
	“So did you!”
“Well, now I have this sticky lemonade crap on me!”
“So? I have strawberry smoothie on my new t-shirt!” Then I heard someone laugh behind
me. I turned around to find my friends starring at me, and lot of people, too.
“Well, I hope that counts as making you drink that!” I yelled. Then my phone started
to ring.
“Got to go!” I heard Sam Cooper say, and he ran off with his people running after
him. I answered my phone.
“YOU ARE FIRED!” Then the line went dead. I couldn’t believe my ears. I was just
working for a couple of days, and I already lost my job. I went home all sad, and droopy
like. My mom noticed me right away.
“Wow! I can’t believe I saw my daughter on the news!” yelled my mom.
“Huh?” I asked, because I had no idea what she was talking about.
“Oh, come on! Everyone in the world most of scene the look on your face with the
smoothie on your new shirt, and let me tell you it was funny!”
	“Oh, that!”
“Well, why are you so down then?” I told her everything that happened from the
beginning. She said it would be okay, and that she got a raised. I felt really happy for
her, but still felt as well she put it, down.

I wrote some more, but please tell me WHAT YOU REALLY THINK! I mean I like it when you
say, that was great...keep writing or whatever, but it doesn't help me in the long run. I
know...I know...I do that, too, but I have been thinking, and I am going to stop doing
that. Also, I won't take it in a bad way! Even if you say...you hate it! Because really I
AM going to have people hate my story. I also, know that I haven't been talking for a
while on here! Sorry, but you know I was busy, with bird poo on my head. Don't ask! Well,
okay you could ask me, but it IS a long story...maybe I could put that even in a story!
LOL Plus, I have some stories on here that doesn't have any comments! Anyways...here is
the part I typed a long ago, but delayed actually posting it here, but I am soo lazy:

The next morning was going to be great. I was going to go to the park with
my friends on a picnic. A phone call woke me up, though.
	“Hello?” I answered it.
“Crystal! Where are you? We are already at the park!” said Anna.
“Opps! I will be right there! Okay?”
“Okay!” Then we said good bye. I got dressed then I ran to my car, and hopped in. I
drove towards the park, and parked at the park. Then I ran to where she said we were going
to be.
“Hey!” I said to Anna, Chloe, and Rachel. “Where are the others?”
“Left…wait…do you even know what time it is?” said Anna.
	“Um…no,” I said.
“Well, it is one o’clock, and everyone but us had to leave by then,” said Chloe.
“And plus you were suppose to be here at 11,” finished Anna.
“Guys, I am sorry, but I had a hard time sleeping.”
“Really? Then you could have at least called us, and told us that you would be late!”
yelled Rachel. I knew she was mad. When she started yelling that meant she was mad. “Now
that I think of it…maybe I should go, before I blow my head off.” I laughed at that
joke.
“Aw…come on! You can’t possibility blow your head off!” I said. Rachel laughed,
and so did everyone else.
“Okay, fine you are forgiven,” said Rachel.
	“Yes!” I heard more laughter.
“Guess who I got a call from last night!” asked Anna.
	“No clue,” I said.
“Well, fine. I will give you three hints. 1. He doesn’t go to our school…”
started Anna.
“That guy that is from your neighborhood that you have been talking about for like the
past year?” said Rachel.
“How did you know?” asked Anna, but we all knew the answer. She is just that good.
“Anyways, he asked if I was busy tonight, and well I said of course not! Then he asked
me if I wanted to go to the movies…”
“Then you said yes!” I screamed.
“Yeah!” Then we were interrupted by a phone call.
	“Is that mine?” I said.
“Yes!” said all three of them.
	“Hello?”
“Hi, sweetie! Guess what! You need to come home right now!” my mom said.
“Okay…” I said, and then she hung up on me. I said good bye to my friends and drove
home. I thought about why she needed me home. I mean I wasn’t in trouble, because she
sounded way too happy. She sounded like she just won the lottery. I got home, and saw a
car in the drive way. I wonder who it could be. I walked through the door, and heard
people talking in the dinning room. I walked towards the voices.
“Oh, Crystal you scared me!” said my mom jumping up from a chair. Then I saw them. I
saw two guys seating on the couch wearing black suites.
“Mom what are they doing here?” I asked while pointing to them.
“Oh! They want you to be on the movie…Peace, Love, and Happiness,” said my mom. My
mom told me about how it would be great if I went, and that it would be a great experience
for me. I finally told her I would do it.

I see no one commented, but I just can't help myself not posting...maybe I should really
stop that.

The next thing I knew I was going on a plane to Hollywood. I was scared,
because why would they pick me? I mean I am just a normal girl, that isn’t really
special what so ever. Anyways, so here I am sitting on this plane in the first class area.
Then this girl that looks about my age sits next to me.
“Hi…my name is Danielle,” said the girl who sat next to me.
“Hi! I am Crystal,” I said.
	“I like that name.”
“Thanks, but after a while you really don’t like it. Trust me!”
“Well, I could trade names with you any day!”
	“Yeah, that could be fun…”
	“Please, just answer!”
	“Sorry, but I can’t do it today…I have….to go to a movie thing…and stuff.
Sorry!”
”Oh, so you are going to be an actress?”
“Well, yeah I guess you can put it that way.” Danielle laughed at that. Then she
pulled out a pen.
“Do you have a piece of paper?”
	“Sorry, but I don’t.”
“Fine…then…just give me your hand.” I did, and she wrote down her number.
“I got to go before they notice I am out of my seat. Bye!”
“Bye!” Then I looked at the number. Then I realized she looked familiar. She looked a
lot like Tom Cooper. Yep, the dad of Sam Cooper. Then I remembered that she never gave me
her last name. That was weird, but I decided that I would call her maybe in a few days.
Then before, I knew it my plane has landed in Hollywood. I stepped out, and was rushed to
a limo, before I could do anything else. Then I was off to the set of Peace, Love, and
Happiness. I got out of the limo, but before I could even look around. Something went
plop, right on my shoulder. Crap! A bird just pooped on me. Well, hurray for the first day
of my actress! I yell at the driver who is starting to laugh now.
“How would you feel if a bird pooped on you?”
“Well, a bird would never poo on me.”
“Oh, yeah, just wait.” Then plop, right on the drivers head. I started to laugh. Then
he laughed.
“Wait! How am I supposed to get this off?” I asked.
“Just, go to the bathroom, right over there, and then come back here to the limo, so
you can meet people.”
“Thanks!” I yelled while running to the bathroom to clean my shirt. I got the shirt
wet, and then grabbed some soap, and washed out the bird poo. See now that is what I get
when I am wearing my best shirt. It was blue, just plain blue. It was going to be a little
wet, but I didn’t mind. I would rather it be wet than have bird poop on it. I went to
the limo, and the driver was still standing there with bird poo on him.
“Right this why…Miss…” started the driver waiting for me to say my last name. I
had my mom’s maiden name.
“Smith,” I said telling him my last name.
“Follow me.” I followed him into a fake school. We went down this really long hall
way, until we can to the last classroom on the left.
“Have fun!” said the driver while opening the door. I walked through, and heard the
door shut behind me.
“Hello,” said the guy in the teacher’s chair, at the front of the class. “Have a
seat.” I looked around the classroom and chose to sit close to him, but not too close.
Right then I was staring at him. He had light blond hair…almost white. He also had
bright green eyes, and a huge nose. “You most be Crystal Smith, nice to meet you.”
While he talked I noticed he had bright white teeth that was straight has can be. “My
name is Ryan Davis, but just call me Ryan. Anyways, since you are a new actress you need
to follow whatever we tell you. I mean you can make a few suggestions, but if we don’t
like you drop it. Okay?”
	“Okay,” I said.
“Now let’s get down into business. Tomorrow you will be practicing with the whole
cast with your script of course. Then you will get fitted. The next day, Tuesday, you will
practice once again last time with a script. This is the time you add facial expression.
Wednesday you will be practicing on the set without a script. Now this is the time that we
had hand signals. Thursday, you will be doing the same thing again. Friday, is the day
that we go through the first few scenes with costumes. Saturday and Sunday you have the
day off, but you may want to look at the script. Monday is a new day, and I really don’t
want to talk about it. Do you understand me?”
	“Yes,” I said.
“Here is the script…and here is your little calendar of the week. You may go.”
“Thanks!” I sad grabbing the stuff and heading out the door.
“Oh, and make sure you know that script like you wrote it!
	“Kay!”

I would really like it if you told me what YOU REALLY THINK!

I thought of a title, but I don't really like it. If you have any suggestions tell me!

“’Kay!” I walked right out the door, and flipped to the last page. It
was 200 pages long!
“Miss Smith?” asked the driver. “I don’t think we met really. Mean I know your
name, but you don’t know mine.”
“Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, too,” I lied.
“My name is Mike Bloom, but just call me Mike.”
“What is up with just first names?” Mike laughed.
“Welcome to Hollywood.” I had to smile at that. Then he got a call on his cell phone.
He answered it, and talked for a little. “Miss Smith?”
“Oh, please just call me Crystal.”
“Crystal we have to drive home…I mean to your hotel.”
“’Kay!” I said, and followed the driver I mean Mike. He drove me to the nicest
hotel I ever stayed at. Then bang! I had to meet a new person.
	“Hello, Maggie,” said Mike.
“Hello, Mike,” said Maggie. Mike turned to me.
“This is Maggie. She will be like your nanny for the next few months.”
“’Kay!” I said. Then Mike said he had to go, so I was with Maggie. Maggie had dark
brown hair almost black. She had light blue eyes though, and she had the biggest smile I
have ever seen. She showed me our hotel room. Then she told me the rules, and she went to
bed. I wouldn’t blame her. It was already midnight. I got ready for bed, and then fell
fast asleep.
	“Get up!” yelled Maggie.
“Huh? But it is only eight,” I said.
“Yeah, and you were suppose to be there at seven.” Well, once she said that I was
running around doing this and that. Finally, I got to the set at nine o’clock. I ran
into the classroom we were going to practice in.
“Sorry! I had an epic morning.” I said, and heard laughter. “What?”
“Just have a seat,” said Ryan, but I couldn’t sit down. I had a point to make.
“I have a few rules. One everyone most be here for practice. Two I have to know
everyone,” I said. Then I noticed a small camera move. Some one was watching.
“Well, you are not alone there. Now take a seat there.” He pointed to the second
chair. No one was sitting in the first one. That was strange; because Mike told me every
chair was suppose to be filled. I met everyone, and learned what character they would be
playing. Then Ryan said something that got me thinking.
“Now since Ned the character in the movie couldn’t make it we can all just go
home.”
I was happy about that. I just got in the limo, and then my cell phone rang. I didn’t
know the number, but decided to answer it anyways.
	“Hello?” I said.
	“Crystal?” said a deep voice.
“Who is this?” I asked. I heard a little laugh.
“It’s been that long? You can’t even remember me?”
	“Dad?”
“Yep, you got that right.” Then we talked for a little while about my new life, and
we hung up. When I got to the hotel room, it was only noon, and I wasn’t hungry for
lunch. I decided to give Danielle a call.
“Hello, this is the Cooper family. Who would you like to talk to?” said a boy’s
voice.
“Hi, is Danielle there?” I asked. I knew she was a Cooper!
“Who is speaking?” asked the voice again.
	“This is Crystal.”
	“Crystal?”
“Boy you guys ask a lot of questions.”
“Yeah, and I am not even done. How did you met her?”
“On a plane,” I said. “Are you guys always going to ask this many questions?”
“Hold on a second.” Then I heard some background voices.
	“Hey Crystal!” said Danielle.
	“Hi, Danielle,” I said.
“So my brother was wondering if…”
	“Huh?”
“I mean I was wondering if you already started working on your script.”
“Does looking at the last page number count?”
	“No.”
	“Then it is a no!”
“Hey, you didn’t tell me you were in the Cooper family.”
	“Most of slipped my mind.”
	“Really?”
“Well, you didn’t tell me you were going to be in the new movie, Peace, Love, and
Happiness.” Ouch that hurt.
“I didn’t think you would know much about it.”
“Oh yeah? Well, I do! I know more about it than you do! And Sam get off the phone!”
Then I heard the line went died. Wait! Sam was listening to me talk to Danielle. What was
his problem? Why was he doing that? I mean did he think I was like going to make out with
her or what? Because I would never do to a girl! Well, since I was bored I decided to eat
lunch. For lunch I had a BLT, and Dr. Pepper; my favorite lunch back at home. Anyways,
after lunch I decided to start looking at the script. I learned that this story was about
a girl trying to be happy. Her life was even tougher than mine. Her father ran away when
she was little, and her mom died when she was five. She thinks her mom died, because she
doesn’t go by Lilly, she goes by Mary.

-_-

Does anyone like my stories?

“Oh yeah? Well, I do! I know more about it than you do! And Sam get off the
phone!” Then I heard the line went died. Wait! Sam was listening to me talk to Danielle.
What was his problem? Why was he doing that? I mean did he think I was like going to make
out with her or what? Because I would never do to a girl! Well, since I was bored I
decided to eat lunch. For lunch I had a BLT, and Dr. Pepper; my favorite lunch back at
home. Anyways, after lunch I decided to start looking at the script. I learned that this
story was about a girl trying to be happy. Her life was even tougher than mine. Her father
ran away when she was little, and her mom died when she was five. She thinks her mom died,
because she doesn’t go by Lilly, she goes by Mary. This is totally strange, because that
has nothing to do with her name, and her mother hated that name. Anyways, so she is living
with this foster family. She has no friends at the age of 16, and all she ever dreamed of
was falling in love. At three o’clock my cell phone rang. It was another number I
didn’t know. I didn’t feel like talking, so I let to go to my voice mall. At four
o’clock I checked my voice mail. There was one new message.
“Hey, Crystal…this is Ryan. Anyways, I am just letting you know that just don’t
come in tomorrow. Stay at the hotel and study! Alright…bye!”
Wow tomorrow is the second day that I have to do really, but reading, and remembering my
lines, but yet if I knew I would go back in time, and set myself up for what was happening
next. And yeah you can say this is where the story begins.
I woke up on Tuesday thinking what I had to do. Nothing came in my mind. My cell phone
rang before I could do anything else. It was my mom.
	“Hello!” I answered.
“Sweetie, I just got a call from your dad, and he said he talked to you. Is that
true?” she said.
“Of course!” I said. Then I told her how proud that dad was with me. We hung up after
10 minutes. I got up, and ate breakfast, took a shower and practiced my lines. At 11
o’clock my phone rang again. This time it was Danielle.
	“Hello!” I answered.
	“Crystal?” said a boy’s voice.
	“Yeah…”
“Look I am here to say sorry, because Danielle made me.”
	“Sam?”
	“What?”
	“Put Danielle on the phone.”
	“Fine.”
	“Hey!” said Danielle.
“How do you know so much about the movie, because you are not on the cast list?”
	“I know someone who does.”
	“Really? Who?
	“None of your business.”
	“But…”
“No buts!” Wow! She totally sounded like my mother right then.
“Well, if you won’t tell me that is perfectly fine. I just wanted to ask. I got to
go. Bye!”
“Bye!” Then I decided to call up Anna, because I haven’t talked to her since I was
leaving to go on the plane.
	“Hey Anna!” I said.
	“Guess what!” she said.
	“What?”
“Remember how I told you that guy called me?”
	“Yeah…”
“Well, the movies were great, but then he asked about you, and that totally threw me
off. I asked why, and he said I always see you with her, and my friend was wondering about
her. Then I told him that you were in Hollywood…”
	“Anna!”
	“Sorry, it just slipped.”
	“I told you don’t tell anyone…but its okay…I guess.”
“Anyways, the guy is totally interested in you.”
	“Who? Your boyfriend?”
“No, his friend. His name is Todd. Just talk to him please!”
	“No way!”
“Well, I already gave him your number.”
“Anna! I have to remember like 200 pages of lines, so how am I supposed to have a
boyfriend?” Then I looked up at the ceiling, and saw a camera. “Anna, I got to
go…now. I think I am going to be sick.”
	“Why what happened?”
“I will just call him okay?” She gave me the number, and we hung up. Then I screamed
my head off. Maggie came running.
	“What is it sweetie?”
“That!” I pointed to the camera.
“Oh, that? It doesn’t even work.”
“How do you know? I saw it move!”
	“Trust me it doesn’t work.”
“Some how I need a walk. I will be back in a little bit.” I grabbed my cell phone,
and ran out of there. Who ever was watching me, was going to kidnap me or worst. I was not
ready for this. I mean I just to Hollywood! I ran out of the hotel doors, and started
walking around. I didn’t want to cross the street, so I turned the corner, and I saw a
lemonade place. I was thirsty, so maybe just these once I would get a drink. I walked in
there. There was a huge line, and there was only one girl working. I just got in line. For
ten minutes I didn’t move. I got to the counter.
“I know…leave if you have to!” said the girl, whose nametag read Michelle.
“What do you need help with?” I asked.
“How would you know how to do anything?” asked Michelle.
“I used to work at a lemonade stand that looked like this. Here I take the cashier, and
you do the drinks. Okay?”
“Fine. Oh, and my name is Michelle.”
“Mine is Crystal.” I hopped over the counter, and started taking people’s orders.
The line was getting much shorter, and people were leaving happy. Finally, no on was left
in line.
“So what do you got here?” I asked.
“Funny, because you should know.” I laughed.
“I do, and I would like to take medium lemonade.”
“Sure thing and you don’t have to pay.”
	“Are you sure?” I asked.
“Well, you helped out when you didn’t even have to.”
“Yeah, I guess I did.” Then she went, and made the lemonade. Meanwhile I sat on the
counter. I was staring at the menu, and I didn’t even hear the door open.
“I want strawberry lemonade…large, and could you hurry. Wait…where is Michelle?”
I heard a boy’s voice behind me. I turn around, and see Sam Cooper.
“That would be $5.95,” I said. He looked up and saw me.

Here is a lot more of the story. I hope you like it!

“That would be $5.95,” I said. He looked up and saw me.
	“Where is Michelle?” he demanded.
“Oh, she is here. I was just helping her.”
“Yeah, right,” said Sam. Right then Michelle came out from the back.
“Oh, Sam!” she said, and jumped over the counter and gave Sam a kiss on the mouth.
“Hey Crystal can you do me a big favor?”
	“Sure,” I said.
“Close for me and make sure you give Sam Cooper his Strawberry Lemonade.”
“I am NOT going to close for you,” I said.
	“Yes, you are.”
	“No, I am not.”
“But you wanted to help out, so I thought maybe you should close.”
“No, and I got to go,” I said while jumping over the counter and leaving my lemonade
in the back. Yet, I must have been too slow, because Michelle jumped on me, and I landed
on the floor. Great…a girl fight. I started pulling her hair and she scratched me with
her VERY long nails. I screamed, and then she got off of me.
“Sam let me go!!” Michelle yelled.
“As much as I would like to see you fight I don’t think you should,” he said. I
just walked out of there. I didn’t want to hear anything. I ran all the way back to the
hotel. I couldn’t go in. I just couldn’t take all what I had to do. I had to memorize
words, I had to act completely fine, and I had to act like I didn’t miss my friends! I
got out my cell phone. I called my mom. We talked, but she couldn’t do anything. She
said something that really surprised me though. She told me to call my dad. He worked
around Hollywood. He didn’t tell me! I called him.
	“Hello, Crystal,” said my dad.
“Where do you live? And could send me a taxi?” I asked. He sighed and hung up. Next
thing I knew a taxi was right where I was. I got in.
“I heard you want to see Mr. Wright,” said the taxi driver.
	“You know him?” I asked.
“Know him? I am his personal driver.”
	“Oh,” I said.
“I heard you are his daughter,” said the driver.
“Yes, I am.” Before I knew it we were pulling up to this huge house. The house was
light blue. It had many windows, and a brown door. My dad was waiting for me on the drive
way. I got out of the taxi and went up to him. He gave me a huge hug. It hurt a little,
but I hugged him back.
“You sounded upset on the phone,” he whispered.
“Well, I kind of was,” I said. He nodded.
“Why don’t you come in and met the family,” he said.
“Family?” I asked. He laughed. We walked through the doors, and I found kid toys
lying all over the wooden ground. My dad stepped over the toys and went into the kitchen
were there were four boys and one girl eating dinner. Then I saw a women standing over the
table. My dad cleared his throat. They all looked up and saw me.
“Now, before you go jumping on her you got to met her properly,” said my dad. They
are still starring at me. My dad pointed to the boy that was sitting at the head of the
table. “That is Adam. He is the oldest being at 10 years old.” Then he pointed to the
boy on the left first chair. “That is Jake he is 8 years old.” Then he went to the
right of the table and pointed to the first two boys. “This is Evan and Owen. They are
twins. The difference between them is Evan has one blue eye and one brown eye. They are 6
years old.” Then my dad pointed to the girl. “That is Maddie. She is five years old.
And everyone this is Crystal.” The women now came over by me and hugged me.
“I am your dad’s new wife,” she said. I just nodded and hugged her back. Then all
the kids jumped up from their seats and jumped on me.
“Everyone off of Crystal right now,” said the women. They all got off of me.
“Sorry, but you know kids. I want to introduce myself, so let’s go into the living
room.” I followed her into the living room, which had more toys than the hallway did.
“Sorry, about the mess, but you know having five children is harder than you think.
Anyways you might have heard me before, but my name is Lucy Smith.”
“I have heard of the name before, but what do you do?” I asked. She laughed.
“I am a model, and I see you don’t pay enough attention to the model world,” Lucy
said.
	“I guess not,” I said.
“Anyways, your dad did get a new job as a model too. How funny is that?”
	“Really, funny,” I said.
“Oh, but I don’t want you to think we are all for model and no kids, and have a bad
attitude. Actually, that is why no one really has heard of us. I mean we have been in a
few magazines but…” she started.
“Its not so much, so you will be famous. Plus, it pays for this house and for the
kids,” I smiled.
“Right, so I don’t think that we need to work more on our modeling skills. Do you
understand?” she asked. I nodded. I just can’t believe after my dad went to Princeton
he would go into modeling.
“Crystal…I love that name,” she whispered.
“Well, I am kind of tried of it,” I said.
“You know I was going to name one of the children that well Maddie. Then your dad said
no, because he already had a daughter named that. I never knew that was your name. He
talked about you, but not much.”
“Yeah, he moved away when I was pretty young.”
“I am so happy to finally met you that’s all. Now why don’t you go play with the
kids. Oh, and keep up on the great work.” She winked. I walked out of the living room
carefully not stepping on any toys. I also ran into my dad.
	“Its pretty late,” he said.
	“I know,” I said.
“Why don’t you go visit Maddie. She is in her room. Upstairs the first door on the
left,” he said. I walked up the stairs, and there were no toys. I turned left, and saw
the first door. It was painted purple. I knocked.
“I swear if it is any of you boys I am going to kick you’re a**,” said Maddie. Wow,
Maddie had a mouth.
	“It’s Crystal,” I said.
“Oh, even better. Not! I can’t believe my dad never told me I had an older sister,
but you know what now I don’t want one. I mean I would want one, but not like you,”
she yelled through the door.
“She’s hard isn’t she?” asked my dad. He frighten me. I opened the door.
“I told you get OUT!” yelled the little girl.
“Look, all I wanted to say is that you need to be nice!” I walked out the door. I
couldn’t take it anymore. I would just start crying. I needed to go home. I needed to
see my friends. I needed to be backed up. I needed to…
WAMP! I looked up to see Sam Cooper.
“DAD!!!” I screamed. He wasn’t going to off easy now. First, he has like five kids.
Then, he is a model. Finally, he actually knows Sam Cooper. He came running down the
stairs. He looked to me to him. He gave me a face like what happened. Yet, he doesn’t
know? I mean it was on TV! TV! All over the US! People saw me and Sam Cooper slam into
each other.
“WHAT IS UP WITH YOU? I MEAN FIRST YOU HAVE LIKE FIVE KIDS AND YOU CAN’T PROBABLY
TAKE CARE OF THEM ALL BECAUSE OF YOUR STUPID MODEL CAREER! WHEN YOU WENT TO FREAKIN’
PRINCETON! AND YOU ACTUALLY PASSED COLLEGE! AND THEN YOU KNOW THIS FREAKIN’ WEIRDO! I
MEAN WHAT HE IS DOING HERE?” I yelled and screamed. Then I saw Maddie. She had her head
around her door, but she was trying to hide. Yet, I saw her there. I don’t know about my
dad or Sam Cooper, but Maddie just wanted a sister. She lived with four brothers that are
crazy. She wanted to be loved, but someone other girl besides her mother. Yet, the saddest
thing is that she didn’t know how to act around other girls. She doesn’t even have any
friends.
“Honey, me and my wife was going out, so we called Sam Cooper to baby sit…” started
my dad.
“I am not suppose to be here. How much do you guys go out?” I asked.
“Everyday,” said my dad. It clicked. I turned to Sam Cooper.
“Do you ever like talk to Maddie?” I asked.
“No, she never wants to talk to me,” he said. It clicked. I turned back to my dad.
“I am really sorry, but can I stay?” I asked my dad.
“Just be good. Wow, we are running late. Let’s go Lucy!” yelled my dad, and they
walked out the door.
“Nice episode,” said Sam Cooper. I rolled my eyes. I walked into the kitchen to look
at the time. It was 7 o’clock, and I was starving. I opened the fridge.
“There’s nothing good in there,” said Sam. I rolled my eyes, and kept looking. He
was right; there was nothing good in there. “I could order pizza.”
	“I don’t care,” I said.
“What would you like? I mean I personality like just plain cheese,” said Sam.
“Yeah, sure that’s fine,” I said. He grabbed the phone and ordered. I sat down at
the table.
“So that’s your dad?” he asked.
	“Yeah, why?” I asked.
“Oh, so you are Crystal,” he said.
“What’s that suppose to mean?” I asked. He laughed.
“He told me a little about you.”
“Why doesn’t Maddie ever talk to you?” I changed the subject.
“She always is in her room.” The doorbell rang. “You got to get that.”
	“Why?”
“I am Sam Cooper.” I got up and answered the door. It was our pizzas the guy handed
me five boxes.
“That will be $20.50,” he said.
“Hold on!” I said, and set the pizzas down. Then I went to Sam.
“Give me $21!” I said. He handed me the money, and I handed it to the guy.
“Keep the change!” I yelled, and closed the door on him.

I wrote some more. Pretty bored. LOL

“Keep the change!” I yelled, and closed the door on him. “How come you got
this many pizzas?” I asked.
“PIZZA!!!” yelled all four boys, and ran from upstairs to downstairs.
“That’s why,” he said, and pointed to the boys. I heard no sign of Maddie.
“I’ll be back,” I said, and walked upstairs. I knocked on Maddie’s door.
“Go away!” yelled Maddie, but with a sob. I walked in anyways. I walked over to her
bed right against the wall. I sat down. I rubbed her back in a circle monition. “I
thought I sad go away.” She looked up at me. Yep, she was crying.
“I heard you cry,” I said.
“I am not!” She wiped her eyes.
“No, its okay to cry once in a while,” I said.
	“Why are you even here?”
“I want to help. I mean I know you are like this, and all you ever wanted is a
sister.”
	“It’s true…”
“You don’t have any friends, because you don’t know how to act around girls only
boys.”
	“Yes, I do!”
“Listen Maddie I can help you, but the only way is one you want help and two you got to
say admit you don’t know how to or you need help. I am going back downstairs. There is
pizza if you want some. Remember I will be waiting for you.” I walked out. I went
downstairs. I looked at the pizza boxes there was none left.
“I saved you some,” I heard a voice behind me.
“Thanks,” I said while turning around it was Sam Cooper. I heard feet come down the
stairs.
“Okay, I want help! I do need help! I really do! I mean everyone at school thinks I am
a freak!” she started crying. I put the plate on the table, and hugged her.
“You are not a freak,” I whispered to her. She hugged me back. “Let’s go to your
room and talk.” She held my hand and we went up the stairs.
“Oh, no I forgot my pizza. I’ll be back. I promise, and pinky swear,” I said, and
walked out of the room. I ran down the stairs and grabbed my plate. I ran back upstairs.
“What’s wrong with me?” asked Maddie.
“Well, first off you can’t call people names,” I said.
“People call me name, so why can’t I?” This is going to be harder than I thought. I
sighed.
“I know how you feel. I used to be that way, too. But people just judge you on what you
do first.”
“Oh, so going up and punching people is not what you do?”
	“Right!”
	“I get it now…”
“What is your bedtime?” I asked.
	“9 o’clock.”
“Can we continue this tomorrow, because it is your bedtime?”
“I guess,” said Maddie. I got off her bed; I put the covers over her, and kissed her
forehead.
“Good night,” I said. I turned off the light, and walked out of the room while
closing the door. I still had half of my pizza left, and it was cold.
“Is she sleeping?” asked Sam Cooper.
“Yeah, and what about the boys?” I asked.
	“Sleeping,” he said.
	“Oh,” I said.
“Are you done with that?” he asked while pointing to my plate.
“Nope,” I said, and then my phone rang. “Hello?” I said into the phone. Sam
grabbed my plate and went downstairs.
“Hello is this Crystal?” asked a man’s voice. Well, not exactly like a man’s
voice more like in the middle of a boy and a man.
	“Who is this?” I asked.
“You were supposed to call me,” he said.
“I’m sorry? But who is this?” I asked.
“Does the name Todd ring a bell?” said the voice. Oh, my god. I forgot to call him.
The guy my friend wanted me to call was calling me.
“I totally forgot. My bad,” I said.
“It’s okay. I get the whole movie star thing.”
	“Really?”
“Yeah, I was in a couple of movies.” I walked downstairs and sat on the couch in the
living room.
	“That’s awesome,” I said.
“Yeah, it is.” Sam walked in the room and handed me my plate, but this time with warm
pizza. I whispered thanks.
“Ugh…look right now is not really a good time, but I will call you later. Bye!” I
said.
	“Bye,” said Todd.
