I decided it was time for me to make my own character. Behold, my dear rp-ers!
Pluto has a very violent, yet ultra-intelligent mind. She is rather loud and boisterous,
voicing her opinion before even thinking if what she is saying are actual words. She is
very perceptive and will point out all mistakes before they are even made(not really, but
she's pretty quick). She can't stand insolent and stupid people, as she herself is rather
a genius. She is deathly afraid of hard cover books(don't ask me) and is terribly allergic
to cotton socks.
Pluto has the Cotard delusion. What is such a delusion, you ask? I will explain it to
you, love. The Cotard delusion is a rare psychiatric disorder in which a person holds a
delusional belief that she is dead, does not exist, is putrefying or has lost their blood
or internal organs. Rarely, it can include delusions of immortality. That last bit is what
Pluto has. She also has schizophrenia and she is bipolar. Jolly old girl, isn't she?
Pluto was born into a rather eccentric, yet wealthy family. She was named Pluto after the
god of the underworld, aka Hades. She was a bit mad from the start, her toddler self
running around stabbing forks into her stuffed animals eyes and such. She had always had a
violent personality, but her loving parents thought of it as vigorous and competitive.
Pluto herself thought that she was a goddess, meant to descend upon earth when the Time
was Right, to run amok wreaking havoc and burning villages, among other things. When she
reached her teens, Pluto was lost in her own world. Her parents often heard her talking to
herself and laughing hysterically, sometimes to the point where she would run out of
oxygen and pass out on the floor. The over-protective parents flew into a panic at this,
calling a doctor hurriedly. The doctor, being in the Victorian age where they sent as many
girls to the Asylum as possible, immediately proclaimed her as medically insane and she
was shipped off, although something interesting happened on the way...
Pluto, being only 12, had not heard about Asylums and was rather excited to be taken
to a new place. But when they bound her in a straitjacket and placed her in a carriage by
herself she began to have some suspicions. She worked her way out of the straight jacket
and strangled the carriage driver, managing to bail before it jumped the cliff. Lying on
the road with a broken ankle, Pluto had no desire to go back home. So she began to walk
in the direction of London. When she reached there, tired and sore, ankle throbbing, she
was swooped up by a kindly old mother hen who whisked away to a doctor to have her ankle
fixed, yet inevitably when her utter madness was discovered, she was turned out onto the
streets again. She lived under a bridge on the Thames, mugging people for their food and
money, struggling to live for 5 years, when she turned seventeen and nearly drowned.
She had been attempting at catching a fish, food had been short lately and she was
hungry. When none surfaced, she completely ignored the fact that she could not swim worth
a dime, and leapt into the river, immediately regretting it. She solitudes and splashed,
screaming like nobody's business, and luckily it was not if vain. A young couple happened
to be walking by, and hearing the shrieks, the well trained husband dove in and pulled her
to shore. They sent her again to a doctor, who took the liberty of examining her head
again, sent her off to the Asylum. Weak from exhaustion and hunger, she was not able to
escape this time, and ended up here.
