Hmm... well I can't say I have many specific media, I tend to get inspired by ideas
rather than actual pieces of art, but:

Basically any album by Mono.

The film Unbreakable.

Reading something really good by someone I don't consider 'up there', examples are:

http://www.indyfluency.com/v.php?p=616 ( Asterisk by Phenylketonurics)

http://www.indyfluency.com/vseries.php?s=71 ( Augustus Prairie by InTheCafeteria)

There are many seemingly random things that can set me off. If I perceive something
beautiful, for example. Or see someone being creative and think 'I want to be like that'.

Well idea or not, I entended this execise to make people aware of the
literature/cinema/artwork that has made their art what it is today.
For instance, I tend to write more on the darker side. I believe this is from the
saturation of that type of media i have been exposed to + my life experiences. Theirs no
denying the fact that people draw from the world around them for their creative endeavors.
