Well first off there's 70s, 80s, 90s that came out the 22 of January I believe. Next is
University Life in March 5. Who else is excited for it?
Love it, hate it, want one, avoid one, but everyone’s got one — a social life that is.
While making the grade is important, The Sims 3 University Life experience is about more
than just what you learn in the classroom! It’s about the life your Sim leads outside
it. Your Sim can pursue any social life they dream of – from the most popular Sim on
campus or the nerdy bookworm that lives in the library. No matter if your Sim is a little
socially awkward or completely irresistible they can have a fun and memorable university
experience!

Introduced in The Sims 3 University Life are three new social groups: the Jocks, Rebels
and Nerds. Your Sim can gain influence with as many of these groups they desire – they
are not limited to befriending just one! As your Sim progresses up the social ladder
within each group, they will unlock rewards that will make all the effort on their part
worth it.

But what are the social groups like? Let me tell you…

Jocks are the Sims who play to win, whether it’s a popularity contest or a match on the
Plink Plonk Tennis Table. It’s no wonder that Jocks tend to hang out at B’s Bowlarama
where they can work on getting strikes and not striking out with the cute Sim eying their
sweet bowling moves. Probably not a surprise either that Jocks throw some of the best
parties on campus.

Rebels enjoy going above and beyond the expected and then taking it one step further.
Rebels are the Sims who will tag a wall on campus and then add herbs to the bonfire at a
local party. You can find Rebels hanging out at The Grotto; a cool place where a Sim can
enjoy a game of pool, work on their artistic skills, or savor an organic brew from the
Barista Bar.

And last, but definitely not least, are the Nerds. Nerds love to play video games, perform
research, win trivia challenges, and aren’t afraid to berate other Sims for their
ignorance. Keith’s Komics is the ideal hangout for a Nerd as it has all the lots of
hobbies for Nerds to enjoy including, computers, arcade machines and comics, of course!

Keeping up with all the social influence your Sim gains is simple! With a few clicks on
their new smart phone they’ll be completely in the know. Just hit ‘Check Social
Groups’ to see their current status. But that isn’t the only cool thing the smart
phone can do. Maybe your Sim is feeling bold and flirty, then sending a secret admirer
text might just catch that special someone’s attention.

Alternately, if another Sim has treated you poorly and you want to give them a piece of
your mind then go ahead and send them an insulting text. Also if you Sim is looking to cut
loose and be single, they can send a break up text to their romantic interest.
Additionally, if your Sim is more visual then they might appreciate the new ways to take
photos. Now your Sim can take self-portrait snapshots with another Sim, and can even sneak
in a romantic kissy photo. These are just a few examples of what your new smart phone can
do!

Even outside of the social groups there are a huge variety of social activities and
interactions your Sim can partake in. For example, what would university be without
parties!? To spice things up, we’ve added two new party types in the mix: Juice Keggers
and Bonfires.

Parties are a great time to meet new Sims, and if there is a Sim you want to get a little
closer to, then go ahead and give them a Heat of the Moment Kiss. There are plenty of
other new kiss interactions as well, such as Juiced Kiss and Cinnamon Kiss. These only
scratch the surface of the new romantic options that are available in The Sims 3
University Life.

If your Sim isn’t into partying, then there are still plenty of other activities to do.
From playing a collegiate sport to posing nude for figure class to becoming a medical test
subject and holding a protest, your Sims will find an all-new world to explore! There are
also great new social things to do that will contribute to building skills as well. With
the new sketchbook object you can ask another Sim to pose for you (even pose nude)! Plus,
there is much, much more! But we’ll leave the rest up to you to explore for yourself!

In The Sims 3 University Life, each Sim can build a unique social life that suits their
needs. Just don’t get blinded by the awesomeness of your Sim’s social life and forget
to send them to class. It’s true that a dream job can be landed based purely on social
activities but receiving good grades has its equal advantages!

That's practically all the info from it. There maybe some things I'm missing but this is
from an article on SimsVip

Then there's Island Paradise coming out in June that MIGHT be introducing mermaids. I
don't know. In the live chat they said "and even see some marine life"
Dropping anchor this June is The Sims 3 Island Paradise, an expansion pack filled with
adventure, exploration and a world of new discoveries set on the sunny shores and beneath
the glistening water of a tropical paradise. For the first time ever, Sims can take the
helm of fully customizable houseboats and set sail in search of uncharted islands, create,
own and manage resorts or discover what lies beneath the ocean through the new skill-based
scuba diving and snorkeling activities.

The Sims 3 Island Paradise introduces all new ways to build – whether it’s a lavish
five-star resort, a bungalow on the water or a houseboat that can travel the seas. Players
can create their own idea of island paradise for their Sims in this new expansion pack and
embark on an unforgettable journey.

Then there's a unnamed ep that basically you can go into the future. Oh and theres a stuff
pack. Details of that I don't remember.

I hear you can woohoo but you can't get prego. And if you can, then the pregnancy
probably won't start until after college. And next year, Sims 4 is possibly coming out.
They are saying it is. Ea games confirmed it but not sure since there have really only
been leaks and a few confirmations from Ea. They are keeping secret but they have been
working on it for 5 years so my guess is right after Sims 3 came out, they started working
on Sims 4 knowing Sims 3 would be a big hit.

I find it funny how people are like "they should have a pack for teenagers and children"
and I'm like "they did. They had Generations. That's how far their willing to go." People
want a stuff pack for children and teens but I doubt Ea games will do anything of the
sort. After the line up for this year, there might be one more game until Sims 4 comes
out. Maybe not even that one game since its cutting a bit short. I was hoping Ea games
would let us enjoy the game for maybe 6 months to a year but nope. At this rate, there
cramming all these Sims 3 games at once just so they can release Sims 4 as soon as
possible.

Oh and nope they wouldn't do teen pregnancy since college students can be young adult to
elder. Teenagers aren't aloud to go to university cause they have High School. Young
adults aren't teenagers. There ages 20 to 39.

Well, yeah...i know the college kids are young adults but i feel like the teens should be
able to become pregnant. because most teens these days ARE getting pregnant. i feel
like...in sims 4, if they want to make it more true to life, that(teen pregnancy) should
be an option and the option to go look for apartments/houses as a teen and then not move
out til the young adult birthday OR they can just live at home with their parents. oh and
they should be able to be kicked out too.

IM JUST SAYING. not everything in life is good. and Sims pretty much puts how life is
SUPPOSED to be instead of how life is. i love it though! but im just saying.
maybe Sims 4:Real Life expansion pack?

Well its also because they'd probably be accused of saying teen pregnancy is good. Or
some shit like that. I mean mtv(number one channel for brainwashing teenagers) already has
sixteen and pregnant and that doesn't really show how tough it is to be a teen mom. Being
a teen mom is one of those things that you won't know what its like until you actually are
one but who in the right mind would? Just give a baby to a teenager for a week, make them
take care of it, and they won't want to have one. I think I remember someone saying how
there should be this place where teens go to take care of a strangers baby for a week.
They'll understand how tough it is and won't want to have a child. And the only reason why
their is so much teen pregnancy cause nowadays your considered uncool for being a teen
virgin. I don't know how its like at every other school but I know at my school, 88% of
the student population aren't virgins. 10% of that are either pregnant or parents. I just
think most of teenagers out there are immature and irresponsible. Yes I'm a teen but I
know I'm irresponsible. I can barely take care of myself. If someone doesn't remind me,
I'd even forget to eat and then later wonder why I'm so hungry.

The point of that rant is that, first of all teens can't get maternity days off for
school and unless your male is pregnant, people who are pregnant have to have maternity
days off. My male was not given that opportunity... probably cause its awkward on the
phone saying "yeah... I gotta take a few days off cause I'm pregnant." They'd probably
question. Plus the male doesn't even know he's pregnant. He just starts getting really
fat. There's probably a bunch of other reasons why Ea games doesn't want to add teen
pregnancy. I doubt no one has asked them to do it by now. People have been wanting it
since the beginning of Sims 2. Maybe even since Sims. For the most part, the sims team
always responds to their fans request because... well their their fans. If something is
highly requested for than they'll respond to that request.

Oh ok that makes sense.
I see how much bad publicity will come to the sims from that.

Yeah everytime i go on facebook, yet another teen from my year is pregnant, engaged, or
married. I dont get it either.
