Arlen walked through the mall of crowded people, resisting the urge to run
and hide from everyone. He walked into the Tattoo and Piercing's shop with a hanging sign
on the top, 'CREATIVE SIGHTS,' with details of skulls, swirls, and some piercing ideas
around the words. Arlen sighed, glad to be in a more open area as he was now trying to
calm himself down. He walked over to the front desk, seeing no one was in yet he sat down
looking at the paper work in front of him, with lists of names and dates and times for
people to come in. He looked over at the Windows 7 desktop that was set up and turned it
on, sure he hated being close to crowded areas and talking to people, but he needed a job!

He also liked the way Tattoo shops were like, open areas, never to crowded, only a
few people nearly work in this shop, so he was content with it. Arlen though, in his head?
He was fixating on every detail and aspect of his childhood, thinking about what would've
happened if this happened, or 'what if's' to himself. He never stopped thinking about it,
never could, probably never will.

Excuuuuse me. Did I ever accept you?
No. I did not. You would have known that, had you read the rules, you aren't allowed to
roleplay unless I accept your character.
I also said, do not put your character's picture in your signature.
Warning.
Direct disobedience against rules.

Sugar entered the mall with a bit a class, skipping around here and there, drawing the
little attention from the people surrounding the entrance. He tipped his big Hipster
shades down, giving everyone a friendly wave and glance as he walked to his favorite
indoor cafe, Starbucks. The young man took a seat, smoothing his warm coat underneath him,
and took in his surroundings. He hadn't been to the mall in such a long time, things had
changed since he'd went as a kid. Sugar had so much to do in the mall since his department
from the city, making him even more excited to see what shops were being ran.

/sorry, my roleplaying is rusty and, I'm drowsy. asdfghjkl;'

James gazed at the short, blue-haired boy that walked into the coffee shop,
studying him languidly, though his movements, and fidgeting, were anything but. He took a
drag off his cigarette, looking around quickly, hoping no one noticed yet. He had sat by
the door so he could smoke, a nasty habit, but a habit nonetheless. And no one appreciates
standing in a biting wind for twenty minutes.
He shrugged to himself, took another drag, and noticed the boy had chosen the table next
to him. If he weren't so terribly shy, he might actually start up a conversation, but of
course he never would. That was simply the way James was; An introvert, shy, withdrawn. So
he simply sat, and watched the boy out of the corner of his eye, interested.

Sugar glanced around once more, but not at the shops, at the people this
time. He investigated everyone who passed by quietly, ordering a cup of water for the
moment. James caught the boy's attention, making him smile self consciously. Sugar didn't
have the 'right' type of people skills, he'd probably be too bubbly or hyper for James.
Shaking his head to make the thought go away, Sugar gulped down his water, only to start
fake choking like an idiot. He looked around as he coughed hysterically, waving over
James. 'I hope he comes to help...', Sugar thought as he threw out some violent
coughs and twitches. For him, this was a way to get the attention to someone he was too
shy to talk to.

B'aww.

James sighed, going back to his now-cold cappuccino. He was about to get up and walk off,
sick of the scenery, just not that blue-haired boy. He rested his chin in his hand, gazing
at some fake plant. He had just started zoning out when he heard loud coughing, and
sputtering. Head jerking up, James saw the boy choking. He made a soft sound in the back
of his throat, since he couldn't necessarily cry out. He got up, quickly going over to the
boy.
He stammered some sort of nonsense, unsure how to continue. Should he give him the
heimlich? Or, mouth-to-mouth? Was that even legal anymore? He bit his lip, deciding on the
former first, going behind the boy and wrapping his arms around the smaller boy's abdomen,
nearly having to double over to reach his height. "Oh god, I'm sorry." he squeezed, quick
and hard, hoping this was right, since several people were looking up in alarm.

Sugar blushed furiously as James' longer arms wrapped around his body, the touch making
him shiver. His coughs died down and he patted the taller man's arms gently, indicating he
was alright. The boy smiled up at James, giving him an involuntary hug. He almost caught
himself from hugging James but, he thought it was the right thing to do since he obviously
went out of his way to help. "T-Thank you, mister." It came out almost as a whisper, his
body a little shaky from the coughing and, the attention they had drawn.

So short. skjfhs. D|

James blushed brightly, nodding and muttering his welcome. "Y-yeah, s-sure." His
blush brightened even more as the boy gave him a backwards hug, and he realised his arms
were still wrapped awkwardly around his waist, and he was still bent over. He cleared his
throat, letting go and standing up straight. He kept his gaze on his feet, but awkwardly
thrust out his hand. "James." he bit his lip once more. "I mean, I'm James."

Pff. And you said yours was short.

Sugar's normal vibrant, cheerful attitude came back as James offered him a handshake. The
blue haired boy extended a hand, shaking it only to notice his hands were very small
compared to his. He quickly let go, blushing and mumbling to himself. Sugar scanned James
from head to toe, pondering in question about him. "Would you like to sit down with me? My
brother didn't want to come with me, it'd be nice to have some company." A smiled spread
across his face without him noticing as he stared at James. Then again, he noticed he was
about to be on his way, probably not even wanting to stay at the mall anymore. He pulled
out a chair and wiped it clean with a napkin, his OCD kicking in. He didn't want any germs
to get on the guy's jeans.

I guess the smaller the text, the shorter my paragraphs look. xD

You're fine~

James blinked, furrowing his brows. "I- yeah. I'll sit with you." he smiled, blush fading.
He ordered another cappuccino. "So, I t-told you my name. W-what's yours?" he laughed
nervously, raking a hand through his too-long bangs and gazing at the other boy,
mismatched eyes bright.
He studied the boy while he could, trying to be conspicuous. He was short, lean, and had a
very kiddish face, but was still rather attractive in a "pinch-your-cheeks" kind of way.
Though, there was some mature undercurrent in his delicate, almost effeminate, features,
which could only be seen when one really looked. And it didn't necessarily look handsome,
no. That wouldn't fit him. Yet, he couldn't think of a real word. He was just- attractive.
And his eyes were so bright and innocent. He smiled, to himself, having missed every word
the boy said.

Sugar's short legs swung as he rocked in his chair, his bright blue eyes locked on James'
mismatched ones. "I'm Sugar... nice to meet you, too." His voice sounded lost, he just
loved the way James' eyes looked. To him, they looked so radiant when the light was on
them right. He outstretched a small hand, patting over the man's face with curiosity. He
shivered and reflexed his arm, blushing lightly. 'What was I thinking, touching his face
like that! He probably things I'm a freak now..." Sugar put his hands in his lap, fiddling
with his fingers as if he'd been punished for a petty crime.
As a way to make him forget what he just did, he got up and walked over to the counter of
the cafe to order another cup of water. He stood on his tip toes to see the menu, just in
case he wanted to get something sweet. Sugar pondered on why he liked James' eyes but then
shook it off when the waitress gave him his water. He walked back to their tablet with
that natural toddle he had and took his seat.

James nearly cringed when Sugar patted his face, because a shock of electricity
ran through his skin, causing him to shiver anyways. "S-sugar." he mumbled, gazing at the
table and a suddenly very interesting stain on the table. "What a-an unusual name." he
nearly whispered at the table, when Sugar came back. He bit his lip, almost to the point
of bleeding.
-See? See? He thinks you're a freak. With your ugly, mismatched eyes. And you're too
pale. You look like a goddamn ghost. And a freak.
The lioness-girl in his head, with her crazy hair and thin, bony features, she stared at
him with those intense, cat-like eyes. It made him want to flinch. Made him want to curl
away. She was his tormentor. The one who made him crazy. Ruined him.
