Basis. Nordic Mythology Monster. Frost Giants Where. In the midst of The ÀRTÏC Circle. Someplace that embodies Nifilheim, Greenland, and Scandinavia. It's cold okay? Frozen water and Snow covered mountains. Looking for the infamous Spirit of Jack Frost? Or perhaps you're searching for Jotunheim? The home of the fearsome Frost Giants. Make sure you steer clear of the ice caps that jut out of the water. They'll successfully wreck your boat and claw a hole into any vessel. Many humans find the journey troublesome. But Legend has it, there is Gold deeply hidden here. Deeply hidden. Just ask the Stars. ❉

Lupus was freezing and here it seemed time had stopped, frozen in time to be endlessly desolate. Waiting for Orion was rather troublesome anymore - the time could vary for how long he had to wait (quite impatiently) and no amount of love would make the Wolf even slightly happy about the trip. It was rocky, wet, and damn cold! He had underestimated the climate when the Hunter told him their next hunt was a Frost Giant. Wolves could withstand some ice and snow, they were covered with fur of course! But even when Lupus had tried to slip into his wolf body had the wind blown right through and he changed back, helpless. Could stars even get cold? They must. The wind surely bit into him, siezing him in uncontrollable shaking that was quite foreign. He is from the south, why would he even want to venture so far north? He doesnt even remember the last time tried. Why would anyone want to? There was nothing here except ice, water, and rock. He tried hunting for awhile but all proved as failure. And no way was he going to try to fish in the huge ass lake. Thinking of the many ways he was going to scold Orion, he huddled up beneath many furs and pressed his back against a solid stone rock jutting high up above. "Egypt," the wolf muttered, his lips curling into a snarl. "He comes from Egypt, and decides to go here!" It was safe to say Lupus was not having a very fun time. The small animals that were their paid mind not to bother an angry grumpy wolf. He would have snatched them up otherwise to try to gnaw off some annoyance. Orion had better be greatful for having such a trusty friend - even when the Star knew he was a turncloak. It's called Loyalty, and Lupus was as loyal as anyone was like to get. Though - If Orion took any longer, Lupus would probably freeze to death. 'Could that even happen?' The Wolf pondered, but who cared? 'Certainly not Orion or the damn oaf would be here by now.'

Orion liked the frozen sticks of ice that began to form on his clothes. His bronze metal binoculars felt like ice now. And He'd only just arrive. Taking to the ocean and walking himself thousands of miles over the waves. The son of Poseidon. The love of the hunt brought him this far. All for the hunt. All for good sport. It brought Orion to his knees. Like a heart sickened by it's lover. tSK. Speaking of ~ Where was his loyal hunting dog? Trampling snow? Drowning? Sigh. Orion already had a lure for his cats. And he missed the Canines dearly. Withboth his favorite set of twin-tailed dogs in the sky- Orion had to Rely on a mut outside of his region of space. The Lupus. They've already been acquainted with each other. Sometimes friendly, sometimes not. But now more then ever Orion needed a mut to be at his side. For the sake of the hunt. Sometimes, a dog is exactly what you need to lure the cat. *** Orion couldn't feel an inch of the air that spun around him. He was too warm. His skin illuminated a soft pulsating light. As if his skin was made of soft florescence. Mr. Giant had was thermal to the touch. And no matter how cold it got, his body always opposed with it's heat. But why? The Hunter was excited to finally tame a beast. This venture was very far north. Frost Giants were very particularly savage. And ugly. And Orion wanted every drop of blood to pool at his feet. The idea was thrilling. Oh... So ... Thrilling. But Orion would have to hurry. He didn't want a single moment of sunlight to dwindle in Egypt while he wasn't there. For it was night in the North. But day in the South. And the moment the sun fell below the horizon, Orion's master would expect him back in the city. *** "Cold?" Orion said, touching the other's cheeks. His friend's skin felt icy, and he was completely washed of any color. "Hm?" Orion was rather late wasn't he? That's right... Lupus must've been waiting long. His fur was covered in ice crystals. Good dog.. "It's going to get colder, you know..." Especially because this wasn't even their last stop. They were headed to the coldest part of the region. The dog still had to walk into the heartland of frost country. Where there wasn't even a speck of anything living. Except ice and darkness. The Giants called it home. Jotun. Orion unzipped his jacket and swept it around the other's shoulders. It wasn't very stylish for casual affairs. The form was Naval. Commanding. The Jacket was a dark and dingy burlap brown. It had many latches and pockets. So many chains and buckles... Military like. The coat wouldn't fit Lupus at all. There was plenty wrong with Lupus having a coat of this size... Especially since it wasn't just oversized. But extremely heavy. Heavy and yet... Trapped inside, There was enough heat to feel like a furnace. Orion had kept it warm. Almost scorching. Orion breathed into his hands. Tiny sparks of fire inched at his skin. Next he got on his knees, Facing Lupus. Orion's expression was immersive. His bright stars conveyed concerned- If only because a good hunter took responsibility for his pets. Orion pressed his glowing hands against the dogs cheeks. The hunter's hands sweetly transferred their warmth. Their Thermal heat. "Idiot, I told you, it would be cold... And you said you could handle cold."

He had said that. Lupus remembered, and regretted ever saying it at all. Wolf welcomed the almost painful scorch that overwhelmed him as the heavy jacket was laid over him. It hurt with the sudden change in temperature, warm needles piercing his body. This was not the sort of thing he was meant for. "True- but this is far from cold," Lupus closed his eyes as the Giant warmed his face. His cheeks turned a shade crimson, as if they werent already like that, and his nose was red as well. "The cold here is different," he persisted. "But you cant feel it all the same." Orion was always warm, so of course he wouldnt have felt the chill. Lupus turned his face away from the warmth of Orions hands, and pushed himself to his feet. The weight of the jacket sagged down The Wolf's shoulders. "I'm good," he growled. Orion forgot Lupus was a lesser star, of course the resistance to below freezing temperatures was not a luxury Lupus possessed. But Lupus was better than this and soon he would rid of the jacket. Soon. At the moment the sagging didnt bother him. He just wanted heat. "North. Lets continue then. You dont have all day. And since you were late," Very fucking late. "We have a very short amount of time to get there. A shorter amount to hunt down some Giants for your eye." He was mad, angry, belittled. He was acting childish, and no amount of excuses of a little chill would let him huddle in the hot forests of the south. He slipped off the jacket then, holding it out to Orion. His arm wasnt quite straight out, the weight dragged his arm down. "Lets go," he ordered. There was always a clash of superiority at one point or another. Orion was the hunter, but Lupus was the Alpha, and The Wolf was a stubborn dog.

The wolf's face flushed a brighter crimson. Aw- The hunter held a smug look for the puppy. Poor puppy. The dog began to assert himself. How cute~ Well- maybe for someone else. But the shit was simply to flimsy for Orion to take seriously. Lupus and Orion would commonly clash with on another. Sometimes it things ended up friendly, but other times the conflict could last for months... The fact still remained, Lupus was doing Orion a favor. As much as the Hunter didn't want to admit it. Let alone think it. it had to be said. "Thankyou." Thank you for waiting, you loyal bastard. Orion stood up on his legs again, and collected his jacket. Evidently, the stubborn pup was ready to move on. Orion reached out his hand and massaged the hound behind his ears. The experience Mr. Hunter had with animals couldn't be out matched by any other star. Because His touch was simple.... The male Feigned affection, Effortless. Could Orion really be this Affectionate? In theory? yes. But in this moment? No. This was manipulation. He needed Lupus happy. For a happy dog was a good dog. And the difference between a successful hunt and a humiliating death... Was all determined by how good, your good dog was. Orion made His grasp even warmer this time. "Wellwell... Aren't you eager.~" there was a small smile cracking. Orion's speech was loosened. He cocked his head, and with a voice like liquid metal spoke, "You think i can't feel the cold?... It's just the opposite... It's the cold that keeps me warm. The warmer i am, the closer the hunt... And we are very close." Despite how his body released heat like a smoke stack... There was something, mechanic about the Hunter. His voice was fluid, and his motions smooth. But his eyes- His eyes were dead. Both of them. *** MushMushMushMushMush. The hard ice below their feet collapsed under Orion's heel. It was the fact he was so temperate. It made the Blocks of ice melt to snow. And snow soon became a sopping marshland of wet cold mud. mush.mushmushmush "The only other thing i know about these giants-" Orion smoothly slid his coat into place again, as he continued to explain, "They are fire proof... Despite being made of ice." "These giants are of something harder then diamond but they aren't enchanted. They move very slowly. As when you try to move a rusted gear inside a clock." In the distance there was an extremely mountainous looking ridge. Just Over that ridge was endless fog and incantations to the old realms. A no man's land. Jotun. "They do not see very well. They have eyes in the mountains." Perhaps one of mine. "And use some kind of sonar. They yell- and with their sounds bouncing off the glass in this world, they see you. And trap you." Orion was quick to mention- "Once they see you, they can snatch you with their fingers and turn you in case you permafrost. Or, they will impale you upon the nail of their fingers." Hunter seemed to know a great deal about these creatures. Why? Well considering He was a giant too, he must know about them. And these were his distant kindred in folklore. Ancient spells told about Nimrod the hunter being a giant himself. But the great hunter didn't prevail in the North. The Middle East was Orion's homeland. But it was all the same. Orion started down the mountain. Due to his unyielding spirit, the snow around him was melting into smaller wet marshes. Hopefully- it would be easier for Lupus to navigate this way.

Lupus had quite enjoyed the Giants hands behind his ears - it was common knowledge that a dog loved his ears rubbed, the Wolf was no exception to this. But absolutely no way would he let Orion know this. Never. ••• Everytime Orions feet would slosh and pucker against the wet snow Lupus' ears would twitch. mushmushmush He could stand it for the first few minutes but after half an hour it was obnoxious. Umbearable even. The dog knew Orion was talking, his lips were moving of course. But all Lupus could hear was the sound of the snow melting, turning to slush, and mushmush It was some time after they set off that Lupus spoke up, cutting Orion off in his dire explanation. "Stop that," he hissed, glaring down at the snow slowly melting under the Hunters feet. It paved a way for Lupus to follow but Lupus would rather sink down into the snow without any annoying sounds "Stop doing whatever youre doing - stop melting." He was not going to go on otherwise - hed get angry and no amount of ear massages would cool him. Only theb when he was trying to turn away from the fucking sound did he pick up the smell. Frozen. It smelled entirely frozen, and burned his nostrils with cold. It had to be the Frost Giants - this was entirely different from the atmosphere. It smelled like Orion but colder. "You do know where these giants are?" He had no clue, he could be caught unaware if a Giant popped up and Orion hadnt told him their den was near. "Close. Very close," his voice trailed off in concentration. He went to focusing on the sound, to the icy stench of Giants. "Closer."

"Stop that."
What was this? Did the Mutt's mood turn back to anger again? Again. They hadn't even traveled for very long, and Lupus just had to complain about something. Ugh. He missed his Canis dogs. They'd never dare gripe over something so stupid. So stupid. How could anyone undress the sounds of crushed snow? His hound perked his noes up. "Close." The Hunter's heart began to beat faster. Mr. Giant couldn't handle suspense very well. "There~ The earth opens to their home." Orion pointed due North. Just through the specks of a blizzard was an indentation in the valley below them. A Giant's hovel~ The ice in the valley had a large split in the center. As if an earth quake cracked the ground open. That is where a giant would rest it's head. In a frozen pit. The great frosty abode wasn't far. Just down the mountain. But before they could leave- Orion would have to... chill out. He hadn't noticed- but he was starting a fire at the soles of shoes. "Damnit." Orion huffed his foot onto ashes. Killing the smoke. The results left him barefoot, because his shoes were gone. The black leather boots he wore vanished in a cinder of smoke. Okay... So Maybe the dog wasn't so full of nonsense... Hunter was... Just maybe.. a smidgen of an ounce too hot. After stomping out the charred leather, Orion took a deep breathe. He was Processing his anger, next moving the emotion aside for later. Orion looked to Lupus, but he was no help to calming him. Then the Giant took another breathe to relax. "Just give me a minute." Orion said, with another long exhale. And then another one. Still too hot. Orion couldn't dispose of his spirit's zeal. And for that, the glacial surface below them began to condemn them. ..Clink..clink... Crack... Crack.. It only took a moment for the spider's gallery to appear. The splitting the ice underneath their feet. The web's shadow stretched from Orion to Lupus. Cricklecricklecricklecricklecricklecrickle. Orion sighed. There was nothing he could do about this either. But this was actually a good thing- Now they wouldn't need to walk so far. Soon they'd be in the thick of things. Orion's single eye looked to his puppy and delighted fires danced. " Gird your loins." Chink. And they fell beneath the ice. ooc:///editedit ^^ passing through to fix my terrible coding.

Lupus looked beneath their feet, splintering and webbed ice started to drip slowlyslowly...and then all at once Open air greeted them with open arms as the dogs arms flailed widly. The ice sped up before him, trying to get his feet below him - if hed land on his stomach on solid ice that wouldnt be the best thing. He landed - not gracefully might I add, but his feet were met with the ground. Lupus turned to Orion as soon as he was able. Giants. No way did the damned things not notice them. Maybe just maybe they would think a chunk of ice just fell. "What did you do?!" Lupus hissed, steadying himself. His eyes took note of the blue black cavern. There was hardly a note of sunlight, sheaths of ice hung from the rest of the ceiling in spears, and it was colder The smell of frozen giants overwhelmed him here and he was on high alert. Further in... No. Right there He hadnt noticed it before. A baby blue face, angled with sharp cheeks of frost bitten skin. It was huge, taking up one wall of the open space almost completely. The damned thing practically blended right into walls. "Ask," Lupus said bluntly. He wasnt in any sort of mood to safely question a giant. If anything he felt in the mood to rip the frozen thing into pieces and feel the ice cold blood in his mouth. He prefered hot warm blood but maybe the ice would feel like an ice cold drink on a summer day... "Come on," he prodded, staring at the Giant. He couldnt see if the eyes were opened, it could be watching their every move and he wouldnt be able to tell. "Looks decent. Might know something. I'll eat it after, it wont tell anything we were here." Unless he happened to miss another Giant, or another one came peeping in like an obnoxious huge rat.

*** Laying all around the scene was piles of broken ice. Alice had fallen down a very deep rabbit hole. Orion's head felt dizzy. Very dizzy. The fall wasn't enough to kill him, but in human form, his body certainly felt it. Now look at this mess..How would they ever climb back up within the day? No- how would they - - Orion didn't have much time to think about it. Because his poor puppy begged for his attention. ".... y... ou!...d- - -... .. !!" Orion couldn't even believe how much his head was aching. His head must've hit the ground pretty hard. Orion felt the ground- his touch wouldn't melt it. Oh how glorious~ They were finally here. Jotun. Orion slowly peered up, his eye studied his companion. Lupus... Was the Wolf talking? hm? Orion rubbed his temple with the palm of his hand. Within a few moments, Orion took the burden to his legs again. He pulled on a nearby crux of ice to help him up. Orion's gaze took in the new landscape. The cavern was immense- Sheer dark tunnels laid only meters down. But the whole place was the same layer of bright blue jades. Pretty. Some sound was beginning to resonate in the Giant's ears again- but the ringing was still there. Who was Lupus talking too? Orion could see the dog's lips move and his eyes were intent on something across the room. "Looks decent. Might know something. I'll eat it after, it wont tell anything we were here." Orion quickly clapped his hand over Lupus's mouth. Orion mouthed, 'SHUT UP.' There was some sort of creature staring at them. And Lupus was having a damn conversation with it.Through gritted teeth, Orion took his other hand and held a finger to his own lips- These giants, do not see well at all. But they hear all. All. Lupus's voice would no doubt be carried farther down into these caves. It'll trigger the rest of the Jotuns to awaken. They didn't have much time. They had to hide. Orion removed his hands, thinking that any longer he'd burn the other's skin. The hunter was still very hot. Orion took another look at the form across from them- There~ Upon further inspection... This whole time it was just a ceremonial ice statue. A large bearded man with a helmet and a vicious expression. The pounding of iron footsteps awakened Orion's urgency. this was utterly perfect timing~. Orion took his dog by the fur and shoved him behind the Statue, for safe keeping. Orion mouthed the word, 'STAY.' The Hunter looked pretty serious about that command too, because he even looked Lupus dead in the eye and mouthed the word again, 'STAY'. His eyes flashed a sympathetic blue, he didn't want to leave, and yet... Orion turned around and ran into the opposite direction, into the darkness... The hunter's faint glow rapidly spun until it completely faded away.

A puff of breath floated gray before him in a sigh of relief. Orion looked serious, clamping his warm hand over his mouth to shut him up. Clearly he had no idea Giants were good of hearing - he figured they would be slow. Not just physically but all of their senses were dulled. The cavern shifted beneath his feet, a pebble of ice rolled to its side and a ringing came forth to his ears. "oh," he was speaking to a statue he realized, and the real Jotuns were deeper in the darkness. Orion pulled him sideways, pushing him into the shadow of the statue. 'stay' and then he sunk into the darkness with the beasts alone Lupus's eyes trailed around the empty blue uncertainly. Who knows how many Giants there were? Not the Hunter. The wolf didnt doubt Orion could handle himself but a pack was better than a lone omega Lupus could plainly see Orion injured from the fall, he struggled standing and keeping his feet. 'stay ...' He grew restless, his ears standing on edge to hear the Giants steps or their wailing. Certainly the Giants couldnt smell him if he went close the pup stepped closer a bit closer. He was at the mouth of the tunnel, step step stepping in. His confidence grew with every inch. Lupus was fast, faster than the huge hunks of living ice. And Orion could warm him if by some chance the things actually catch him in their fists. Lupus was looking out for his Hunter, and hopefully Orion would warm him if he froze. There was nothing wrong with the plan. Full proof. The smell of the Giants grew closer, the steps louder, and Lupus' train of thought wavered 'he told me to stay' Giants emerged, Lupus's glow lightened the room, illuminating the cavern to reveal a Jotun den. Shit They were awake but cluless, blue eyes glinting like sapphires when they shifted to gaze around the cavern. They heard us fall and my voice. Thats what woke them, but they havent realized they were there. Yet. The sudden shift in light could throw them off and The Wolf dimmed, shifting until he stepped into his Human form for a short time. The cold hit him hard, and luckily he didn't fall to his knees in a sudden wash of pain. Lupus had to lean against a wall of ice to take in the den. They were everywhere...ten maybe fifteen but huge to say the least. Standing tall they towered over The Hunter and Lupus had to look straight up to see ones grotesque face aimlessly peering about. His blood pumped, his ears ringing with his quickened heart beat as a smile curled on his lips. 'And he told me to stay.' His footsteps were soft, they could hear well he knew now, but his feet mostly slid across the floor without any hope of a sound. Orion certainly knew he was there, and Lupus wouldnt stay away from a gut wrenching hunt. He just hoped Orion knew how he was to question at least ten Giants together.

It was some sort of dinning hall. Orion counted the chairs around the goliath's table. Fifteen. Must be some sort of council. Yes, a council. Something like that- Each step made the ground tremble. Hence why Orion found no use to stay on the floor, he's better off keeping high and to the walls. But these love bugs inside of him were making things hard to stay patient. The hunt drove him crazy. Each minute he had to wait. His heat rose. His eyes glowed. His heart strummed with the thought- He knew his cousins must know something about his other eye. If not- One of them could even have it. Without his eye, the star felt lesser and lesser each day. Less bright, less aware, less agile... Weak. Unseen, Orion caught the edge of an empy chair and began to climb. Some Giants were sitting, most were standing, and obnoxiously eating as they haggled one another over the smell of a nearby human. Human? A Human? Here? *** Lupus's human form threw Orion's focus completely off. It wasn't easy to spot the new creature. Small and frail. The other was carefully marking a path into the shimmering hall. It was bright in here, for some reason the Giants decided to layer this room with bright fluorescent onyx and diamond. Lupus- had this stupid human form now. No tail, no ears, no fur, no sense. As long as Lupus stayed quiet, there shouldn't be a problem. The giants were aware there was an off scent among them, but that was as far as they knew. Not where... And this wouldn't work out to well if Lupus was kept out in the open blitz. He'd freeze to death. And evenworse, Orion would need to find a new hunting partner. The hunter internally groaned with the staggering thought. He'd rather succumb to poisen then open a new bout for a partner. And besides... Mr. Giant... Rather enjoyed Lupus's... Buffoonery..? Orion distantly smiled- Moxie. ** The hunter left his home in the shadow of the table cloth, and pushed himself up onto the table itself. Orion heaved, and pushed one of the plates to the floor- The heavy iron struck the floor with a loud clang. The giants roared in rebellion. Disapproving chaos erupted as the Giants all slammed to the floor and pounded their hands, trying to kill whatever might've made the sound. Their kind was extremely volatile and bloodthirsty. In all the commotion, the Hunter ran his way over to Lupus, and dragged him under, and off to the side of a new statue. The commotion was deafening. Which is why Orion dragged him some ways away. So atleast perhaps- with this distance- and in whispers- "You're a fucking dumbass." Lupus looked even colder this time. Was he trying to kill himself? The hunter's face flared. He was a tad irritated, with Lupus's stunt. Obviously.
So cold.
Orion felt nothing of the cold. Even in human form. His body just- wouldn't tire of producing heat. With a considerate expression, Orion rubbed his hands together once more, and breathed out tiny atoms of fire into his palms. The male pressed his hands to his puppy's cheeks. The human's skin. So cold.

Lupus's face was hard, unwavering, and persistant. He took the Hunters heat gladly, tilting his head to press one hand closer into his cheek. "Shut up," the Wolf muttered, his eyes narrowing at the other. The Wolf didnt have to really listen to Orion, he could do as he pleased. He wasnt a domesticated mut. The cold chilled him, true, but his fiery spirit (and Orions hands) warmed him enough for him to live. So far. "I wouldve been noticed," his light shone brighter - warmer than the overall atmosphere. Orion was human yet he was always untouched by cold. "I'm fine," he pulled his face away, touching his cheeks softly with a finger. "See? No need to worry. I have lived long and do not plan on dying." he isnt that stupid. The ground shook beneath their feet, icicles tempting to fall down from the cieling above. Small pricks to the Giants who called this their home, but one small shard could impale either of them. Unless Orion decided to kill him first - the Hunter looked mad ... worried. "Diversion?" Lupus turned to watch the Giants tumble about to find whatever pest had crushed their china. "Planning on questioning all?" They could probably pull one out from the others - if they all came running out at once they would threaten to crush them. Only one could make it out of the tunnel at a time. "We should pull one out, make 'em chase me. You can warm the ice at the top of the tunnel to close it off. And youll have your giant." There could be other exits - in fact he didnt doubt that at all, but it would take some time for them to catch up. "Agreed?" Agreed. He didnt wait. The only set back was if Lupus was trampled on the way out - what a risk. The Wolf stepped out, frail and small, sliding near the opening of the tunnel that led out back into the cavern from which they fell. A Giant saw him plainly, smelled the scent of human and it ran clumsily. Lupus was lucky enough to have time to shift and bolt. He jumped into his Wolf skin, running running running as his body deformed all the while. His limbs twisted agonizingly while his fingers curled inwards, his ears pointed and shifted upwards, his mouth elongated to form a muzzle with sharp razor teeth, and pitch fur the shade of a dark moonless night sprouted thickly on his body. During the transformation his four feet hit the ground faster than before. He was taller than an ordinary wolf, at least five foot. His large paws slapped the wet ice, hoping Orion was right behind Lupus was fast, faster but The Wolf didnt doubt that Orion would keep up, needed to keep up, or the cavern wouldnt be sealed off and the Giants could overun Lupus. all for the Hunters eye

Lupus titled his head more, his cheeks flushing a bright crimson. It was a curious gesture. The hunter studied his dog's face. Was holding his hands to his face really so relaxing? Orion felt like - "..." "You, shut up." Orion spat back. His thoughts interrupted. "You haven't listened to me, this entire time." It felt like the hunter couldn't turn his back without finding Lupus barking some obscene thing, or nearly freezing to death. Something which called for immediate attention. Priceless attention. His priceless focus. It was either scolding Lupus, or curing his frost bite. Both took valuable time... Time that he could have dedicated to the hunt. The hunter's muscles tensed. Orion's blue eye looked less and less kind. Meanwhile his hands grew more fiery. "And- " If Orion wasn't so even-tempered- he would've started yelling. But he didn't. His tone stayed even, and balanced. For thehunt's sake. And what the hell was he wasting his breathe for? The Hunter tried to remember what the hell was Lupus here for anyway? Just to ruin things? Nimrod thought hard. Almost painfully It certainly had nothing to do with Lupus's exceptional listening skills. Because holy hell this was hell. The mutt darted from the conversation- after dribbling out some details of a plan to execute. "Agreed?" Wait What? No! Bullshit started running it's own way- far to the opening where they had come through. And Bullshit, hearkened for the attention of a lone twin-bearded Giant. The Giant sniffed Bullshit, and drove after the tiny wolf with furor on his hands and knees. The Frost Giant that was rummaging after Lupus called for his brothers. Gleefully calling for human soup to be made of the little imp. The Giants fiercely beat their chests and began continuously roaring. **** **** Orion's hook claw was a rusty fuck. But it dealt well when needed. The hunter shot a line up and over- It latched onto the tall arch way, and with confident tug, the male ascended upwards. Like Lupus said, The giant shards of ice were ready to fall with a simple coaxing- With one shot, of a cross bow, the jollies didn't break, yet came free falling~ The frozen shards were massive, just like everything else in this place. So the group of giants were held back, and as Orion heaved to the next ledge he could over hear the giants mumbling to themselves; Another corridor. The hunt raged. Orion shot his claw eagerly to the Jotun. With Lupus as a convincing little human, the Giant heard, saw, and noticed nothing in reference to Orion- until it was to late. It didn't take a lot of effort, to make the the weight of the Giant fall over. Luckily Lupus managed to escape by a hair. Good boy. "Jotun~!" Orion called, fearlessly, as he flew down from the corner, and hurled all his strength into the giant's chest. Something like a shooting star. The giant was coughing up blood. Orion had soared right through the Goliath's steel armor and chains. Like hot fire; melting the giant's armor. And maybe caused some hemorrhaging? That would Explain why the frosty bastard was stumbling to speak. So maybe Orion needed to work on his landing. Orion was covered in blood from it all. But confident. Giddy- "Where is my other eye, Jotun!" Orion yelled, yanking the large man's frozen hairs at his beard. Eyeing him deadly. Orion's expression soured when he heard the Jotun's garbled words. The Hunter demanded another answer. and the Jotun replied, also heckling it's blood. It wasn't here.

As soon as the Frost Giant came falling down, Lupus had nearly dodged the hunk of a building. The Wolf's four paws padded around to the Thing's head and he snarled intimidatingly - which only continued to blubber on it's lifes blood. Orion seemed to seize for a moment, and Lupus went silent seeing the defeat in the Hunters eye. It had no idea about any eye. Disappointed, Lupus backed off, though eyed the Giant wearily. Shifting back into his comfortable Celestial form, Lupus prodded at the Giants cheek. The Jotun was helpless and stuttering - acting a child. stupid.... "What a fucking waste of time." Lupus wouldnt normally care if the Hunt was a complete waste, but this time was different. He froze. He nearly died from a block of ice known as Giants. And Orion was so demanding - it has happened before but still Lupus was not fond of it. He could feet the anger that had radiated off of him, literally, his hands had nearly burned the Wolfs cheeks earlier. "Kill it," Lupus would have gladly torn about the ice cube but the vigor diminished. "You have to get back to Egypt soon. Kill it!" His voice growled, demanded. He was fed up at this point, clearly Lupus was not able to control his anger as easily as the Hunter. Not even close. He'd do anything for his Pack, for Orion, but that doesnt mean he would do it happily. And he was far from happy at the moment. He wanted to get back to the sky, the warm warmer sky. "It's out there, your eye, youll find it," was the best that Wolf could manage to be encouraging. He was pacing, annoyed, bored, fuming, and the stench of Jotun overwhelemed him completely. It moved, the scent, all at once and he began to feel panicked It was the Jotun den, but this scent was live and all around him unable to pinpoint one singular. The passageways for the others must have been closer than he expected. The only way out was up, a large empty hole waywayway up "We gotta go," he said, rushed, eyes running over the walls to any other entrance but there was none. Then why did he feel so panicked. crackcrackCRACK The walls were shaking, webs of cracks spreading everywhere. "Theyre going to bring at all down," The Wolf realized, as ice chunks began to cascade around them, one nearly impaling Lupus until he jumped out of the way. "Orion! We have to go!"

The fearlessness and rage subsided. Orion dropped his shoulders as he realized, Truly, what a fucking waste of time thisallwas. The worst part was coming this far and gaining nothing. This chest was empty too. Bloody empty. Now what? Now where? The icy brute below him hadn't a single clue to give. Somewhere below the heavens, Orion's eye was sitting idle for him... "...." Lupus looked fiesty enough to pounce. But Orion didn't care. He was to occupied. The Hunter's thoughts looped infinite circles.
Where? Where else could it be?
"WHERE!" Orion cursed. The Giant's garbled speech was almost incomprehensible now. He Repeatedly spewed the same damn answers. What are you talking about? We have nothing here! There is only Jotun treasure! Jotun treasure! The petals of ice and hail exploded all around them. The rest of the council was close. Orion didn't move. He was Stretching out every possible second to think. The Hunt was slipping through the male's fingertips. Bambam Orion's heart boiled. Bambam BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM Then simmered. BambaBAMBAMBAMBAM BAM BAM BAM Lupus gravely barked for his master's ears "Orion! We have to go!"
BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM Then... Orion's conviction dyed out. Like a smothered flame. Wholly Eaten up. Orion's cruel urge to Hunt whispered its sweet goodbyes~ The male was cast into reality. The environment violently shook all around him. The hunter randomly fumbled at his sides, and found his belt. He tore at the claw hook device, and pulled the bow back. "This way!" Orion beckoned as he passed over the the carcass of the Jotun, and ran under the sky light they fell through. Orion gazed up, and he aimed- The trigger shot out the bow string, and whizzed through the air. But what was this? The opening above them was suddenly darkening. Darkening... Tiny sprinkles of ice hit the Hunter's cheek. Water. Gallons of artic water was falling through the skylight and gushing in around them. The claw hook's line snapped, when Orion yanked on it. There went all the rope. Orion grabbed his dog, and ran past the fallen Jotun towards the dinning hall they were in. "This way!" The giants were trying to flood their pests out, by flooding the tunnels with water. You could see the floors were beginning to break open too- The water sprang up like hot springs. 'So that's what all that banging was about.' This time, the water was so cold it immediately gave you early stages of hypothermia. The water was at Orion's knees by the time they reached the hall. No giants. But no way out either. Without his hook claw, he'd have to boost Lupus up. "Here." Orion was referring to his clasped hands. He wanted Lupus to step on them, and then be tossed up by Orion's brute strength.
