I saw Lee Daniels' The Butler a couple of days ago. Loved it. Such a famous
cast, I had no idea that Nixon was played by Alan Fraggin' Rickman. I could place Jane
Fonda as Nancy Regan. And Lenny Kravitz is in it and he was great. Really, the most
inspiring movie I've seen since Les Mis. It will win a lot of Oscars....maybe more than
Catching Fire, which is going to rock....
I just saw the movie today, The Butler was amazing. In my opinion, I think that everyone
acted so well in the movie it felt...well, real, like you were in the pastimes with them.
My mom told me that they asked the President to act in it, but he denied. Still, a
wonderful movie and I'm sure it will be a DVD that'll be popular and will never wear out.
And I just love that ending.
"Sir, let me show you the way."
"I know the way."
Haha! And the man talking to him was all shocked.
I remember seeing it the other day, the commercials drew me in and I
finally saw what I wanted. It was such a wonderful movie, I even cried for heaven's sake,
it was beautiful and all the actors were perfect. Bravo to the creators of that movie.
