Friday, 10 May 2013 01:54:08 AM (GMT) the irony of expected is when you know something wont happen & it just happens. I
knew i wont miss home and all of a sudden i was homesick. Above that i wasn't getting
my tickets to home. what worse could it be!! and then today early morning and by
early i mean at 1:00 AM, i had to go for the emergency tickets called 'tatkal'
tickets which are reserved a day earlier.
So yeah, what reservation office would be open at 1 AM ?!! But thats actually to be
in the waiting queue. So some trash people do these crazy things.... which today for
the first time in my life i had to encounter. So i waited around the place for like
5-6 hours, then stood in the queue fr like 5 hours...... yes thats true!!!!
But the experience, during these almost 12 hours, was really something. When in
queue, i got to talk to a lot of people around, totally strangers, talked for many
hours without knowing each others name. The space was peculiarly pleasant there and
in the last hour of waiting, worn out, i was feeling so trippy that i just had a big
smile on my face with no other expression at all, haha. and when i finally got the
tickets, i was dancing instead of collecting my change :D
but, the way i had conversations with all the people around who were totally
different from me in every way, is what i earned.
and every face i saw was happy to see me getting my ticket (it's never sure that
you'll get a ticket; i forgot to mention). One even said me to get lost and dance
outside the office, i didnt mind though
and and and i have a art show to see today at my very own college.... a display of
the final years' students! I'm so eXcited!!! ~~ |
