"I can't believe she did that."
it was a few hours after the rescue, and Mana had still not returned. Eichiro was
recovering quite well. But his mind was filled with the thoughts of the horrrors that
could happen to Mana...She'd most likely been captured, maybe even killed. He hoped
not. He still couldn't get over the fact that she sacrificed herself for her
"I say it was a stupid thing for her to do." Sera says sourly.
"If she didn't do it,we'd be captured, probably killed.and where would that take us?"
Ato replied grimly. There was a murmer of agreement from the others. Sadly, there was
nothing they could do until Eichiro healed fully. It would take another day... He
hoped he could connect with her in his dreams, like before. but that would have to
wait until he fell asleep. He felt responcible for her capture, and he kept cursing to
himself over and over again...He shouldn't had made Mana risk her life to rescue him.
And she did.
The sky's hue was slowly changing from blue to orange and purple-gray.
"It's getting late. We should rest. we can't do anything for Mana until Eichiro's leg
has healed." Kiri mentioned as she lay back. There was agreement from the others as
they did the same. Eichiro was the last one to fall asleep as the sky went to dark
indigo. He stayed up for awhile, still cursing himself about Mana's capture. But at
last he fell asleep.
He found himself at the front of the castle. he knew he was dreaming. he had done
dream travel before. He ran into the large structure and went to search for Mana. It
was his fault she was in this mess, and Eichiro had to make up for it. He knew the
castle a lot better then the others,so he found the dungeon in record time. He
searched the cells, looking for Mana in hopes of raising her spirits. At last he found
something. Mana's backpack on the floor of one cell. He hastily looked through. Her
flute was missing. He cusred silently and put a large mark on the door,so they'd know
which one it was. He went back to the entrence to find the sun was rising. He took
one last look into the forbidding corridors until he faded from sight.
Eichiro was the first of the group to wake up. The pain in his leg had lessened, but
it still hurt. he painfully sat up. The group didn't know much about healing, but they
did a decent job on his leg. He could walk, but he couldn't run. In another
He wouldn't explain anything about the prediciment until they rescued Mana. He
painfully stood up and started to walk around. He needed a walk to clear his head. He
woud definitly come back, and he wouldn't stray far from the camp,in case the group
wake up and think he ditched them. He knew every tree in the rockies,so he'd not get
lost. but something bothered him the whole time. He kept feeling this pair of eyes
watching his back, and whenever he looked back, there was nothing in sight. He decided
not to worry about it. He could deal with anything in the rockies. well...ALMOST
The sky had lighted up,and the group was probably was waking up now,so he headed back
to camp. what they would do to save Mana,he wasn't sure of,but it had to be soon.
Mana might not have much time left. or no time at all. The kidnapper was a dangerous
man. he wouldn't hesitate to kill her.
but he wouldn't let that happen!
