Urgh, it's been horrible ='[
I got back from Spain last Thursday. On Friday I started coughing which was a sign to
me that AS USUAL I was gonna be ill over the Christmas Holidays and New Year (And i'm
ill over other holidays like school breaks etc...)
I ignored it though, I wasn't gonna let my coughing ruin my holidays. On Saturday my
nanna (my mum's mum) had a late Christmas party. I went being accompanied with head
ache, breathing problems, sore throat, fast pulse. Jeez it was almost as if I had
everything in one. I didn't wanna let my nanna down - she'd put so much effort into
it all, but it got to the point where my mum phoned the doctor, and she had to take
me there. Guess what...
CHEST INFECTION! I'VE HAD CHEST INFECTIONS BEFORE AND THAT WAS NOT A CHEST
INFECTION, believe me. So yeah, they gave me tablets and an icky bottle of medicine
and they told me to go the hospital if I wasn't better within 24 hours. So yeah I
went straight to bed when I got home cause I was feeling so lousy.
Guess Where I was on Monday...
The freaking hospital. In the A&E department (Accident and Emergency) I got called in
to this room and they placed a plaster on my finger but it had a huge wire attatched
to it. The nurse told me I had something wrong with my pulse and I had to go to
another room to be seen to in there. It's a good thing my mum was with me
cause I was scared as hell. I got called into this big room and I freaked out (not
much though) I had to lie on this bed and the nurse was placing wires on my stomach
I didn't know what she was doing at the time because I was too scared but I realized
when I heard the bleeping. Oh yeah, I was on a heart moniter machine. I have to admit
it's not as bad as I imagined, I think it was the shock that scared me the most. Then
the nurse unplugged the wires but left the sticky pads on me and told me to leave
them on inase I had to come back or use another moniter. She then said that I had to
go to the main ward to see another nurse who would sort out my sore throuat and
So I went there, I had to lie on another bed, talk to another nurse. She stook a
lollipop stick down my throat =|
I thought I was gonna throw up but thankgod I didn't. The nurse made me nervous
though, she told me I had to be placed on another heart monitering machine ut after
she said that she grinned. But it was like, the cat off of Alice in Wonderland. It
was a huge grin. And then she said to my mum that my breathing is far too fast but
that's only because of the virus I have. THEN GRINNED AGAIN.
Hehe, and then my nanna showed up ^,^
And she made me feel alot better. I was quite upset though, the nurse put me on lots
of medicine (5 different types) and all I'm allowed to eat is ice cream because I can
hardly swallow anything.
All I can do over the next week is rest - then I'm back to school. Great holiday huh?
I barely enjoyed Spain and now my other week of the vacation is being wasted by being
I started watching Yu-Gi-Oh from the first episode on Sunday evening. and I'm on
episode 66 already. Haha, maybe I can have them all finished by next school
Oh wait, I'll be ill then too. I always am. I'm actually surprised I'm not used to it
