Akane tilled the soil alongside Maggie, who was picking ripe leeks. He stood and
wiped his forehead, then looked out to the sea. "...a storm looks like it's forming
over Taewa..." he said. Maggie nodded and put a hand over her eyes like a sun visor,
looking in the direction of Taewa. Taewa was an island of great mystery. Most people
who travelled there never returned. Only it's discoverer had returned. He died a year
later from a mysterious plague. Suddenly, Alina and Mara rushed behind Maggie without
a word. They were talking, somewhat hastilly it seemed, to Alex, who was inside of
her laboratory. Akane and Maggie watched through the window as Alex and Marc became
shocked at what the girls told them. They ran outside to the two farmers with the
girls beside them.

Alex began, hastilly and sweating, "The tides! They're coming into the city!"

"What?!" Maggie and Akane exclaimed. Suddenly, Alina broke in, "The animals are
acting strangely! The last time they acted the way they are was when my parents were
kids, when a great storm hit the city!" The farmers glanced at each other, when
suddenly, little Mara turned pale. Alina kneeled next to her, "What is it? What's
wrong?" Mara pointed at the ocean. A huge wave was going to clash with the beach.

Akane began sweating profusely, "RUN!" he yelled. But before the farmers could stand,
a wave washed over everyone, and the city. Part two soon.
