The Tragic Story of Elmo.
[He is human in this story.]
Elmo held Kala as they walked slowly to the grasslands. He smiled at her as she
looked up at him with worried brown eyes. Elmo kissed her cheek and stopped in the
middle of the knee high grass. He put her down on her feet and he clung to Elmo,
crying in his warm chest. "Please, don't go... I don't want you to get hurt, Elmo.."
Kala sobbed as Elmo patted her head with a light chuckle. "I'll be fine, I promise.
As long as I think of you, I'll get through the battle" Elmo reassured her. Kala
nodded her head no slowly, wiping her tears away. The clouds grew dark and the rain
fell over them, thunder and lightning clashed as they ran under a tree near by. "When
you said that before... we lost Daisuke, and now it might be you." Kala screamed in
anger and sadness, trying to get it through him. Elmo jumped under his skin as she
screamed at him. He creased his eyebrows and slapped her, giving her a look. Kala
held her cheek as he stormed off in the fog and heavy rain. She scream, running
blindly after him.
Elmo came upon his battle ground, his clothes were wet but he was ready. The fog
cleared and he was able to see with the help of the stars, it wasn't enough though.
The sound of screeching birds came from the west. He hed snapped to the side at the
sounds. Elmo drew his sword and stood is ground, the giant raven birds came closer
and closer to him. He slashed his sword at the birds as the pecked at him but, a few
tore into his skin and clothes. He grunted softly and cursed at them as he fought.
Kala was out looking for him still but, she was out of luck. Elmo was fighting his
hardest, the raven's giant beaks knocked him down as they pecked at his skin. His
clothes were battered up and he had just about had enough. He crawled awa quickly to
a near by cliff. He lay there, thinking about what he did to Kala and how he would
have never won this battle. He frowned and closed his eyes, letting the birds peck
away at him. Kala heard him scream as the birds tortured him from afar. She ran and
tripped and called for him.
She came too late. He was already dead. Elmo lay there, bleeding and his face in
shock. Kala ran to him, hugging his corpse to her chest. "Elmo... please... no.." She
cried out. She looked around as te ravens flew off and she trembled, calling out for
help. She sat there for hours until dawn, no one came to her aid. She lay there wit
Elmo, hand in and and the sword he fought with laying in between them, glistening in
the rising sun.
