Okay, so I've started reading Twilight by Stephenie Meyer...Category: RantRantRant

After being constantly nagged by Cady and Nami, I have finally picked up a copy of
Stephenie Meyer's Twilight, just to see why people love it so much.
It's not as bad as I originally thought it was going to be.
Bella seems like a relatable character (To some extent.), and Edward Cullen,
everyone's favourite vampire, is not as sappy as I thought. (Although, I still
think some of the things he says are border-line cheesey.)
I'm not a complete stranger to the Twilight series, I'm exposed to it everyday
because of the people I know, and I see quotes and pictures almost everywhere I
happen to be on the net. I like Stephenie's writing. The plot seems original enough.
It seems like a good book.
I just don't understand the fandom. I mean, I know since it's good it should have a
huge fanbase, but some of the extreme fans scare me. They get obsessive over a
character who is not real and will never be real.
And not just the fandom, the HATE. All the frickin' HATE for fictional characters. D:

Like the Jacob Black hate.
I haven't read New Moon or Eclipse yet (Duh.) but I know a lot about
Jacob, and the fact that 85% of Twilighters hate him.
I know he's trying to steal Bella away from Edward, but honestly, how can you not at
least feel a little sorry for the guy?
I'm not Pro-Jacob/Anti-Jacob or anything, but still. I've been in the "just friends"
zone with a lot of guys, and it sucks. I can feel his pain. He obviously loves Bella
a lot and cares for her and her safety. That's why he doesn't want her with Edward,
because Edward, no matter his self-control, can still snap and kill her.
But the Anti-Jacob Twilighters' tend not to see this. Or they do see it and don't
acknowledge it.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.
I started ranting...again.. :|
I think I should stop before I need another diary entry for this...
And I know I just offended some person in that rant. Sorry, again.

Final summary of Twilight: Not the best book I've ever read, but I like it.
Let's see what happens in New Moon, Eclipse, and then Breaking Dawn
when it comes out.

I'll give you a cookie if you read that whole thing. xDD

I read it all. Where's ma cookie woman?D:<

But I agree. I didn't read Twilight, but I was tied to a chair while
my friend read it out loud to me. xD And then that happened with New
Moon, and then Eclipse.
*Shudders* And then when Breaking Dawn comes out it will happen again.

I agree.
I liked the book, it's nearing my favorites list, but the
'talk-about-MY-edward-and-Ill-hurt-you' fans scare me. Fictional.
Character. xD
I read the whole thing. :D
