I read The Diary of Anne Frank today, and for those who haven't read it; it's
about a 13 year old girl hiding in a loft above a office building. Why is she hiding?
Well, Anne is jewish and the diary is written during WWII. So Anne has to hide with
her family from the Nazis or she and her family would had to die.
Anne has a MUCH tougher life than you or I have (Yeah I really think so... she and
her family couldn't use the toilet or move around from 8:30 to 6:30... if you
couldn't use the toilet for that long, yeah I think I proved my point) Anne could
have blamed the Nazis or Hitler for making her life miserable. In her diary, near the
end, Anne says "in spite of everything, deep down I think people are truly good at
heart."
I now feel really guilty. I have an easier life. I still hate (okay, "dislike") some
people. And the problem is that none of those people prosecuted me or my family. Like
the Nazis did to the Franks. And still Anne thinks they are still good.
