28 - A song that makes you feel guilty

This song (from my view, anyway) is about a guy who fell absolutely head over heels
in love with a girl who he could never really have, not because she was rude or
didn't care about him or even that she was necessarily too good for him, but simply
because she didn't love him that way. It's about him slowly realizing that it will
never be that way, and eventually becoming bitter over it and beginning to blame her.
From the point of view of the girl who's going through this story for the first
time, all you see is him blaming you for something you have no control over. It's
not your fault you don't love him and he doesn't have to be hateful about it. Time
goes on though, and you can slowly begin to feel his pain and understand his love for
you. You begin to feel guilty. Yes, he could have expressed it in a much better
way, and no, that wouldn't have changed things, but maybe if you had understood you
wouldn't have had to hate him for so long.

I'm not sorry for not loving you. I'm just sorry for breaking your heart.
