Today was my second day in Paris, and it was every bit as good as the first.
The first thing we did was go up the Eiffel Tower. We went to the very tip-top first,
then worked our way down. It was foggy at the top, so we couldn't see very well far
away, but it was still a manificent view. We probably spent four hours just looking
and walking around it. We had lunch at a little cafe in the second floor, not at the
resturant, which needs a month booking in advance to get in.
After the Eiffel Tower we went to the Arc Du Triumph. It was pretty great, but all
you can do is look at it. I mean, we could have climbed to the top for a nice view,
but it was really cold and we didn't really want to climb it.
After that we went to the Hard Rock Cafe that's in Paris. I got a T-shirt, but we
didn't eat there. My parents are dead-set against eating anything but French Food, so
we ate dinner at a place that was probably a bit too fancy for us, but the food was
good. For some reason, most of the French resturants have a drink called Orangina
instead of Fanta, but I like the Orangina better than the French Fanta, which tastes
funny to me. Last night at dinner my Orangina came in a funny little bottle, which
looked something like this:
And to me this is pretty funny, as I've never had an Orangina in my life before
