Most people are very lucky they can rely on their family members fort comfort,
trust, and forgiveness. My dad is well, another story. My father, a.k.a Henry can be
a little grouchy sometimes, overdramatic, and soooooooo over protective. One day when
I was cleaning my room my dad came in and asked if I was finished. I told him I had
to clean my dresser and make my bed then I would be done.
"GOSH WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING ALL THIS TIME???" he said practicly yelling.
I told him he was over reacting and I was just taking my time. The next I know is he
is literally screaming in my face telling me all the things I did wrong. I got so
angry I just slammed the door in his face. BAD MOVE!
I was suppose to go to the movies that weekend and ended up getting grounded. While I
sat in my room while my sister went to the movies I wrote about how much I hate him
and never wanted to talk to HIM again. Later on that evening I got so tired of being
mad and finally came to my senses. It wasn't his fault that he was a grouch and
over-reacting. It's just the way he is. I knew when I was mad at him I only
concentrated on his flaws but never all the things he does for me. Feeds me, teaching
me, being there for me. Whenever he's mad, it makes me mad just to look at him. But I
soon relized that wasn't the way to handle things.
*Whenever your dad or whoever is upset with you when you know you didn't do much,
instead of yelling back and making matters worse, take a chill pill and WALK AWAY.
anyone can respond to any of my entries telling about your personal experiences
with this kind of drama.
