Tuesday, 15 March 2011 02:24:43 PM (GMT) My heart really goes out to all the people of Japan and those affected by the recent
disasters in the Pacific. I am very fortunate that none of my friends or friends of
friends have been hurt or killed, and I wish all the best to everyone else facing
adversity in Japan right now. ♥
Please, please, please, if you have any spare cash, the Red Cross are accepting
donations towards the Japanese relief fund - $10 is such a small price to pay to help
those without clothing, food, water or shelter in this horrific time. You can donate
through either the Red Cross website (instructions are simple), or by texting them
with the word DONATE and the amount you wish to send.
I also went on to check the status of all my favourite Japanese musicians and artsits
- currently, the only one without news is the author of Naruto, Kishimoto-sensei, so
my prayers are with him and his family, wherever they might be at the moment.
I was very proud to see great artists such as Gackt, Utada Hikaru and Ayumi Hamasaki
have already opened up their own relief funds towards the recovery of Japan.
♥
In these days of darkness, here's a final note to cheer you all up - heartwarming
stories collected from Twitter about how the Japanese are truely one of the world's
most resilient, well-prepared and brave nations.

Enjoy, think of those in need, and if you can, PLEASE DONATE.
Thank you. ♥ |
