I wrote this a while ago, the chapters I have so far might me a little short and
please excuse it if it doesn't make much sense... I havn't read over it for a while
so, which I know is pretty bad, I don't know what it says XD.
Hey, my name is Lauren Bridie Kay and I’m the first and only vampire living on the
continent of Australia. Yeah I’ve considered creating a companion for myself but I
just haven’t found the right person to spend the rest of eternity with. Anyways, I
live in the small town of Kanahooka in a small one-bedroom house that’s located
just in front of a decent sized football field. I’m a senior at the one and only
Kanahooka High School in yet again Kanahooka.
My friends, Cassandra, Julie and Richard are the best unknowing friends a vampire
could ever have. Despite the fact that they don’t know that I’m the world’s
most dangerous predator they are kind and loving and always invite me to their
parties and so on. I’m a rare breed of vampire as I can walk into direct sunlight
without any effect.
Some of my hobbies include well I don’t have any to be truthful because I don’t
usually seem lonesome. But if you want me to continue with this story I’d better
stop rambling. So here goes nothing.
My story starts on one summer’s day that seemed to drag on like there was no end. I
sat on the porch swing that stood perfectly still on my front porch admiring the
rainbow of flowers that were neatly planted in the small garden bed in front of my
house. I caught a glimpse of what could be the cutest boy that I had ever seen out of
the corner of my eye. He was perfect, tall, dark and handsome, all a girl could dream
I fell in-love instantly. I stood up nimbly and walked over to the boy. “H-h-hi,
I’m Lauren. Who are you?” I stammered while looking into his bright blue eyes.
“Hey, I’m Michael Roberts” He said softly while smiling the most dazzling
smile. “That’s a nice name” I mumbled captured by his beauty and not many
people looked beautiful compared to a vampire.
“Are you new around here?” I asked shyly while looking at the pavement trying to
avoid his gaze. “Yes I am new around here. I moved here from Toronto, Canada just a
short time ago” He answered confidently. I got stuck for words and couldn’t say
one more thing.
“Hey, wanna go out some time?” He asked. “S-s-sure” I stammered unsure what
to say next. He smiled and yelled “See you at school” while walking away. I went
back to sit on the porch swing pondering how he could be so dazzling to a vampire.
The thought crossed my mind at that moment. He was a vampire, the same kind of
vampire that I was.
