When I got home I threw myself onto my bed.
“Ugh .....” I said to myself ,but I knew I wasn’t going to let her
control my life .To help myself calm down , I went to the corner of my room, sat down
on my favorite purple , velvet chair and went online .
Giglegirl98: You on ????
It was Gigi, even though I was mad, I was so bored I would talk to anyone .
DDJ1011: Yeah, I am .
Giglegirl98: hold on, let me get Bri
DDJ1011: It’s Bridget!!!
Londonbridge77: hey guys!!!!
Londonbridge77: Let me get Natasha
Fairest1: too late!!!!
It was Natasha, great, first Gigi, now Natasha. It was like a night-mare
DDJ1011: Um I have to go!
Right after that I signed off as fast as I could, making sure no one could
make any nasty comments.
That night, at our school’s football game, all my friends
and I were
gossiping about the latest school news.
“Oh, just look at Kevin Dayton,” Said my friend Wendy.
“His eyes are just like chocolate gum drops,” said my other friend Emmy,
“The best part is that he’s single!”
“WHAT, I thought he was dating Natasha!” I said surprised.
“He was, but they broke up at lunch,” replied Emmy. Oh no, I thought,
she must be heart broken. I bet all of her friends dumped her to hang out with Kevin
Dayton. My only choice is to be her friend, even if she did dump me for Kevin
After pushing through tons of crowds, I finally found Natasha, softly
“Hey”, I said calmly, “What’s wrong?” I asked, even though I
obviously knew the answer.
“Kevin broke up with me,” Natasha said between her outbursts of tears.
“Oh,” I said, I couldn’t believe it, I actually felt sorry for her.
“Well, forget about him, lets go and get some ice cream, that always makes me feel
better,” I said calmly. Of course Natasha agreed, because ever since she started
going out with Kevin, she has barely eaten anything.
At the ice cream parlor, Natasha and I actually had a good time, and I would
even call us friends. I guess Bridget was right; Natasha isn’t as mean as she
“Oh no, its ten o’clock, I have to get home,” I said disappointedly,
because I had such a great time.
“I should get going too,” Natasha said, and then we both left with smiles
on our faces.
