Okay. I’m changing one name. BJ is now Max. So if you’ve put any comments with
his name in it, either edit it or delete the comment and put another one up with his
new name. Thanx
Now, Back to my story.
It was half past Twelve when the lunch bell rang. As usual, Lily, Amy and My other
Friend Bonnie, were all first into the Cafeteria. I joined them quickly and sat down
beside Bonnie. We smiled at each other.
“Hi Bonnie.” I said.
“Hey Carmen!” Bonnie replied.
My eyes quickly flickered across the room, to the door. For Max and his friends had
just entered the cafeteria and were now walking towards the table across from ours.
His beautiful brown eyes suddenly met my eyes. I quickly turned away.
“Oh look who it is Carm!” Bonnie said, while nudging my arm
I nudged her back.
“Don’t Bonnie! He might hear!” I hissed.
“Yeah. And we don’t want that now, do we?” Lily tuned in.
I sighed dramatically and the others laughed.
“I heard that you took a fall in gym today.” Bonnie said.
“Don’t remind me. Please.” I said. And at that very moment, Max got up and
walked past me to the lunch line.
That’s when I decided I wasn’t having lunch. I didn’t want to run into him
again. I looked over at the table that him and his friends were sitting at. I noticed
his best friend, Justine was staring right at me. I blinked, but didn’t look away.
He suddenly realized that I was looking at him too and he turned his head quickly.
I shook my head.
“Whats up Carmen?” Lily asked.
“Nothing. Its just Justine… He was staring at me.” I said.
The others giggled.
“Stop it. Please.” I begged.
Soon after that, they were all finished their lunches. So we went out into the
playground to walk around.
So we met Jess at the school gates. She had went home for lunch.
“Justine and the others were staring at Carmen.” Bonnie told her, happily.
I rolled my eyes. “It was only Justine. And I actually think that they were talking
about me…” I said sheepishly.
Jess laughed. “Looks like you’ve got a fan club there.” She said.
I shrugged. “Well its better to be loved than hated.” I said.
The others agreed. “So true.” They nodded.
Then the bell rang. I remembered that my next class was Art.
And that meant that I had to sit next to…Max.
