Today the entire eighth grade went to The Great American Melodrama.
(I'm in eighth grade.)
We were required to dress up...
...I'm not sure if I killed the "dress up" thing...
First, let me tell you that when you say "dress up", I can go overboard or overkill.
Whatever it is, I. Will. Inevitably. Go. Crazy.
My first thoughts: Ooh! I'll wear my black outfit I always wear every Sunday to
(In case you don't know, and for most of you, I KNOW you don't, 'cause most of you
don't know me in real life, that "black outfit" consists of obviously BLACK (DUH!)
shiny shirt, BLACK knee-length lace skirt (NO!! It was NOT lingerie! GOD!), and
something I'd never, ever worn before.
My mom's new, BLACK (AMAZING! I KNOW!), leather boots. These were simply adorable. SO
KAWAII!!! EEK! It's kinda hard to explain...like they were SMALL (good for my feet).
They like had crinkled leather scrunched into the center...um...yeah. Well, they were
KAWAII, I'm telling you.
What, you may ask, does this have to do with cosplay?
First of all, I am extremely fair-skinned. Secondly, I have dark hair. Thirdly...I am
I bear an uncanny resemblance to Tifa from Final Fantasy, actually. (The hairstyle is
an exception. I don't have bangs AT ALL. And my hair is almost NEVER in a ponytail.)
Halfway through trying on all my clothes with my boots, I realized that I was
unknowingly attempting cosplay.
I give myself a C: 7 out of 10. I should've worn my black gloves, I needed more
"chains", according to Shylin, I needed a red ribbon on my arm, and my hair wasn't in
a ponytail. Well, how was I supposed to know?
Well, she's not me (for those of you who know me in real life, she DOES kinda look
like me, though, right? WEIRD!)
Okay, Tifa could be my awesome older sis. Idk. You tell me. (Again, this is for ppl
who know me in real life.)
