My love, you're all your own, and I know that can hurt
My love, you're a bloody work of art
My love, you're my dreams beyond this city
My love, you've kissed and healed my heart

I love you harder than a natural disaster, absolutely and forever, imperfectly and
blindly.

Somewhere out there, you're hurting, burning, learning the cruel language of the
world.
I hold you in my heart and mind, but never in my arms.
You slice a promise into your skin, you cut a lie into your flesh. Ghosts trickle out
and float to me, whispering that I can't reach you. I scream and burn, but silently.
Beautiful, don't cut.
