Chapter 4: The New Girl
When Jessica and I arrived at my house, there was this girl at my door. She looked
about my age. She had black hair with brown high lights, brown eyes, and she looked a
little asian. "Hi, I'm Kimberly." She said, holding out her hand. I shook it smiling.
"Nice to meet you Kimberly. Are you new to the neighborhood?" I asked. She nodded.
"Yes, I just moved here." she answered. I smiled and replied. "Welcome to the
neighborhood. I'm Alexa." She smiled while Jessica greeted her. She could be a really
good best friend of mine.
When we were talking, I told her about the gang, and a lot about Zack. She was really
sweet and she understood everything I said. She said she had met Cal and that he was
really stupid. I giggled how she said stupid. She was actually my neighbor! So
whenever I needed her, I could open my window and yell her name and she would open
her window. The best part was she adored shopping like Jessica and I.
That night, I called Zack's name and he appeared. "What's the matter, sweetie?" He
asked me looking concerned. "Oh, nothing. Its about my new neighbor Kimberly. She is
really nice and she reminds me of.." I stopped. He looked at me saying, "Me?" I
nodded my head and he smiled. We then kissed each other. I then giggled and we talked
on my bed. "I love you." I told him. We then kissed passionatly for a long time. I
started getting tired when we stopped. I giggled when I saw his face mimicking that
stupid Cal and his stupid face when he found out we were together. Then, when I went
to sleep, he left.
The next morning I awoke. I looked out the window and I saw Kimberly waking up also.
She saw me and waved. I giggled and closed my window and got dressed. I decided to
wear a dress Zack helped me pick out. It was really pretty and it was a light blue. I
went downstairs finding myself in a hypnotisum of delicious pancakes with french
toast. I just dug into the food. I couldn't wait until March because my baby would be
brought to the world.
After I was finished, my dad came into the room with a letter. "For you." he said as
he walked away. I chuckled as I opened it. It read:
Dear Alexa Anderson,
Since you were in the tragic event and you were good in school you do not need to
participate College because we have sent you the degree. We hope you are alright from
this event. Have a safe life!
I didn't need to attend college. I was glad because it would be hard to take care of
the baby and do college work. I closed the letter and ran to my dad to tell him the
news. He grinned real big because he was always proud of me that I was really good in
school. I then went back into the kitchen to tell Mollie the news. She was happy
also. I then grinned as I continued eating my breakfast proudly. I couldn't wait
until the gang!
