Sing, sing, nightginale perched. Sing a song for my meddlesome mind! Always begrudging my sorrows! Like the butcher man lining them up in a row... all pretty and red for the Christmas Day show. Like the gallows man, making repairs, to his marrionette stage! Dance dance my little puppets! Lest you end up in the butcher's peep show, always the people a starin' Your love she waters the lillies with her fretful worries today. She wonders and ponders what was made of your soul when the nightingale sang at you grave..... Dance dance, hang, dance little puppet down at the gallow's fair show... Shine shine, bleed, shine pretty doll to be stared at, gawked at and eaten!
