"You can just drop off your journal in here," the woman with blue hair pointed to a
large box. "Put it in carefully, and if you want to, we have rubber bands so you
don't lose pages."
"I'd hate to lose pages."
"Then we'll get you someone else's journal."
"I can't wait."
"I hope you mean that. We take what we do here very seriously."
"I take it seriously, too."
"I hope you enjoy this experience. I've done it five times now, and every time it's
been incredible. We have thousands of journals here and each one contains a piece of
a life that you wouldn't have otherwise discovered."
She smiled. "Please, just find me one already."
"Alright." The woman removed the lid from a box and handed her a black book. "Here's
