Crossing my fingers
and hoping
that this isn't a
lie projected from his
smile and in hopes that
it may allow you to sleep
at night.

Even if they are only dreams
cascading from his eyes
down your hips
it is that indeed,
a dream in which
you don't let your self lye.

But you awaken in a rush
and you still can
feel the tender caressing
of his good story telling
across your back.

For you fear that all
this was is a way
into your domino
shaped heart.

To worm in and feel
superior in the morning
glory that are the tears
streaming down your own

The victorious line
that is drawn across
your pillow and soaking
into your mattress.

Even though you feel
you wall surrender,
you don't let it slide
but hang on your shoulder.

Here is the collapse
of your courage
and dignity and you know
that morning never
comes for those who are
star struck.
