Hate Emos? Me Too!Category: Announcements

This is some other lame chain entry that defends emos...

Isn't it funny that when you go to the shops with your friends you look down at
the
girl with black jeans and studs but smile at the girl wearing a a mini with a
t-shirt that barely covers anything?

Isnt it funny you can change your music taste to impress a guy but when it comes to
a girl who likes her own music and her own style, you give her a mouthful?

Isn't it funny that a guy can get away with being a gangsta but the emo gets a
mouthful from everyone?

So, are you laughing?

Isn't it funny a emo can be quiet all through the week but gets more shit from
everyone than the girl who sleeps around and sells her virginity?

Isn't it funny that you dont mind your friends drinking, smoking but the minute
someone mentions emo music you can give them a lecture on melodramatic teenage
outcasts?

Well, I'm not laughing.

It's so funny that you and your friends can make a girls or boys life hell and not
know anything about the silent battle she or he might be fighting.

It's so funny that you can call emos, punks, goths the retards but still manage to
get through your day without an inch of guilt in your heart.

HOW YOU CAN CALL A GIRL OR BOY A POSER, HOW CAN YOU SAY "YOUR NOT EMO" OR "ATTENTION
SEEKER" WITHOUT SPENDING A SECOND TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHY THERE ARE CUTS ON HER OR
HIS WRISTS AND WHY SHE OR HE SPENDS HER LUNCHTIMES CRYING INSTEAD OF LAUGHING WITH
HER OR HIS FRIENDS?

KEEP ON LAUGHING!

Isn't it funny you can say and do all this without any idea of what is going on in
this persons life?

Without knowing her situation with her friends...

...or her family...

...or her LIFE!?

BRAVE ISNT GOING UP ON STAGE AND STRIPPING;
BRAVE IS NOT SAYING A SPEECH;
OR DUMPING YOUR BOYFRIEND...

BRAVE IS GOING TO SCHOOL AND NOT FOR A SECOND CARE WHAT THE WHORES AROUND YOU ARE
SAYING ABOUT YOUR CLOTHES;
IT'S LISTENING TO YOUR OWN MUSIC AND BEING PROUD OF IT;
IT'S GOING THROUGH EVERY DAY WITH THE THINGS PEOPLE SAY TO YOUR FACE AND BEHIND YOUR
BACK AND YOU STILL KEEP QUIET;
IT'S KNOWING WHAT YOUR "FRIENDS" ARE SAYING ABOUT YOU AND STILL CALLING THEM YOUR
FRIENDS;

BRAVE IS KNOWING THAT TOMORROW ISNT A BRIGHT AND HAPPY FUTURE, YET ITS ANOTHER DAY
OF BITCHING AND DODGING RUMORS

Yeah, just carry on laughing.

If you agree with this, post this onto your blog, and spread the word.

You wanna know what brave really is?

BRAVE IS KNOWING YOUR LIFE SUCKS (JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE'S) BUT HAVING THE STRENGTH
NOT TO CUT YOURSELF.
BRAVE IS SEEING EVERYDAY THAT YOU ARE DIFFERENT FROM EVERYONE AROUND YOU, BUT
EMBRACING THAT AND PUTTING A SMILE ON YOUR FACE.
BRAVE IS KNOWING THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO CUT THEMSELVES BECAUSE PEOPLE DISLIKE
THEM, BUT NOT CARING BECAUSE YOU KNOW THEIR ARE STARVING CHILDREN WHO NEED YOUR TEARS
AND BLOOD A HELL OF A LOT MORE THAN YOU DO.
BRAVE IS BEING HAPPY EVEN WHEN IT SEEMS THERE'S NOTHING TO BE HAPPY ABOUT.
BRAVE IS STANDING UP FOR YOURSELF WHEN OTHER KIDS (AHEM... EMOS...) GO OFF AND CRY IN
THE BATHROOM.
BRAVE IS GOING TO SLEEP AT NIGHT HAPPY THAT YOU WERE STRONG TODAY AND TRIUMPHED OVER
THE TEMPTATION TO HURT YOURSELF.

I'll thank all you "emos" to know that my friends don't get along, I am battling a
plethora of health problems (finally controlled, thanks so much Dr. Kazmie!), not a
soul in my school understands me, people make fun of my music everyday (who
cares?!?!?!), my parents and I fight every single day and I have a pressing schedule
with in the dance world that is extremely stressful. And I'll thank you to
know that I am about the furthest thing frm emo you'll ever find.

So figure it out. You are the master of your own life, not the morons at your
school. Suck it up.

You are awesome.
I'm serious. That BRAVE Thing made a lot of sense to me. Never saw it
from that point of view before.

I clap for you. I agree with everything you said abotu being brave.

In some cultures causes harm to yourself was a method of
concentrating. Those kids are just doing the same thing.

It might not be the best way to handle your emotions, but you can't
look down on it just because you wouldn't do it... (If it can give
them a moment where they're calm enough that they realize hat they're
being stupid, then thats good right?)

they aren't trying to get people to cry for them, just to deall with
what they're dealing with until they get old enough to help. Because
unlike most people, emos are sensative enough to not just put a coin
in a donation box but devote their life to helping. Alot of them seem
to have idiot parents who make leaving the country to make a differnce
harder- reason enough to be depressed in my opion.

I don't think it's brave at all to be satisifide that you defended
youself alone when you saw a weaker person getting hurt worse then
you.

And but they don't care if people mock their music.

Yes everyone has they're own problems. But it's not fair to look down
on people who for whatever reason can't handle theirs. And it's
definately wrong to tell other people that they should look down on
them too.

Hm. This is actually a really nice speech kinda thingy.
Has a different point of view.
I don't really have any idea what an emo is, or why you like to
generalize people like this.
And there's also the fact that you used a title proclaiming your hate
for emo people in order to get other people to read this, who hate
emos (is that right)?
It's good, really good. I hope someone reads this. Even if it is
copypasta.

@Kirti: In some cultures causes harm to yourself was a method of

But that's religious, so it's kinda different. And as much as I'm for
religious freedoms and don't frown opinion anything, I really don't
support that.

It might not be the best way to handle your emotions, but you can't
look down on it just because you wouldn't do it... (If it can give

I agree with this, in ways. I mean, I'd like to take an emo person
aside at a calm moment, and say, "Cut yourself." Of course they'd be
like, "No way in hell I'm doing that!" Then maybe they'd see how dumb
they act when they get on those... whatever you'd call them... panic
attacks?...

they aren't trying to get people to cry for them, just to deall with

I don't know if you get where I'm coming from.... I am surely not
emo, but I plan on devoting my life to humanitarian work. I only know
a few real emos, (as in depressed all the time and cut
themselves but are generally a normal person, not a goth/punk/poser)
and they'd never do thaqt kind of thing. They don't care. But I get
really depressed by people who think dropping a few dollars in a box
can really make a difference.

Yes everyone has they're own problems. But it's not fair to look down

definately wrong to tell other people that they should look down on

I've been told that so many times... I'd prefer to help people with
real problems, like if they're just really depressed for no
real reason (signalling a mental problem) or if they're ACTUALLY
troubled (e.g. abused and... pretty much just abused.) I just want
people to see that everyone suffers from teen angst. IT WILL GO AWAY!
I hate it when people don't realize that...

tiggerlemon101 says:   4 March 2009   333958
that's stereotyping, loverskater.

tiggerlemon101 says:   4 March 2009   457889
Are you getting to know those girls? I am friends with some people
like that, you know,

‹<3!!!!CamelsandOttersRock!!!!!<3› shouts:   7 March 2009   929146
wow... loverskater, you know you're doing the exact same thing,
right? Judging a person by what they wear and do. At least we know
something about emos. They're depressed. They're weak. They wanna die.
Who would wanna hang out with people like that?
You, on the other hand, know nothing about those girls. maybe, they
grew and can't afford new skirts, or maybe they just like the way they
look. they may not be blonde firstly, and they may not be
stupid!!!!!!!

tiggerlemon101 says:   8 March 2009   495651
Yeah, Justice isn't blonde! (Sorry, that was mean...) But yeah,
dude, you ARE doing the exact same thing. So shut your fat gob.

tiggerlemon101 says :   2 September 2009   754663
Wow, I must have liked the sound of "fat gob" on March 8th, 2009...
Haha. I wouldn't have said that today. But maybe I will tomorrow.
Who knows?
