I think it's absolutely ridiculous that this is even made such a big deal out of.
Especially that people are pissed  that the team got to win by 100.
It's really sad.
If this was years ago, no one would have given a damn.
and now people are all like, "what the hell, he shouldn't have let his students WON.
He should've gone easy on them because they suck" 
dude.
those people take too much pity on people who fail at life.
and it's not his fault he had to play them.
it's not his fault his players are GOOD and can MAKE three pointers.
in fact,
I think it's WORSE to take the game as anything but a game.
It is more disrespectful to NOT try than it is to win by 100. 
I beleive he did do the right thing and that winners should be allowed to win
without any controversy and losers should not be taken easy on,
maybe pittied.

but the thing is.
that is a horrible, retarded, messed up, situation, it shouldn't get to this level.
You shouldn't fire a coach for winning
You shouldn't make the school apologize for winning.
had it been any other situation,
this would not have happened.
had it been in real life, this would not have happened.
being politically correct,
is not the true way of life.
This is going to screw kids of both teams,
it teaches them HORRIBLE things.

The losers should not think that it's right to go easy on them because they
seriously suck.
they should not think that winning is something to apologize about.
What they should have gotten from this is that they tried hard and it's good but
they need to practice.

The winners should not be ridiculed, mocked, yelled at, or the center of any foul
thoughts.
They should win, and they should try to win. we don't want our kids to think that
just because we're ahead we should try less,
we don't want them to think that if we're ahead it's right to give the other side
some points.
we don't STOP when we're winning,

We're teaching morals that will screw them in the future...
in real life. what happened is NOT correct and this is NOT the right happy ending.
