So, when I was about 10, I was hunting with my father. While we were hunting, he
accidently shot and killed a wolf. We found out that the wolf was nursing, and needed
to find her pups.
All we found was one baby pup, so, me being my 10 year old animal loving self,
decided to take the pup home. We called every environmental protection service around
us and no one wanted the baby, so I kept him.
I nursed him with puppy and goat formula, because that's about the equivalent of
vitamins and minerals that he needed. Now, he is a huge wolf doggy that I named
Scooter. I call him scoots!
He knows and does everything a normal dog does. Sit, stay, lay down, ect. He will
even let my baby siblings ride him on his back! Every winter, we let him Rome free in
the big pen we built. The pen covers 5 miles, is fenced in, and has plenty of prey
for him. One in a while I will take him out to see the wolf pack that lives near our
house, and since he knows his way back, I will let him loose with them. Once in a
while he runs off, but always comes back.
