We hold our hands in praise
To a Goddess unaware

She sits on her throne,
Ignoring, silent, unthankful,
While below,
We struggle to survive
To keep her on her throne

We're swallowed by pain, grief, sorrow,
Waging wars in a forgetful goddess' name
Leaving us injured, broken, alone

But hope remains,
a few of us still fight, for the ones who can't
a few who won't leave another victim deserted

I watch with growing impatience,
while the world fails,

As we hold our hands in silent prayer
To my Goddess unaware.
