A couple of days ago i watched a documentary of Invisible Children.
No they aren't invisible.
The Reason they are called that is because they have been in war for abou 23 years
and just recently,2003,we have heard about them.
In Africa There is such a weak government and so little people to fight that they
abduct kids about our age and younger to fight.
That's how desperate they are.
Those litle kids have to fight and everything.
We watched the documentary on Sunday.
He is a 15 year old in Uganda a part of Invisible Children.
He works very hard and gets so little money.
He takes that small amount of money and he helps himself and other little kids in his
hut and helps feed & shelter them.
He does all of that and runs short on money for his school uniform.
Everyday he goes to school without his uniform and they ask him to leave until he
gets his school uniform.
Everyday he just goes back.
He is stubborn but in a great way to be.
Hes so thankful for what little he has.
We hate school.
Why do we continue to make bad grades and fail in school because we hate it and he is
so thankful for each time he goes?
Every week The U.S. donates thousands of dollars to help pay for some stuff for
Unfortunatly a thousand or so dollars here only makes about 3 dollars there.
So we need to all get together and help make the world better and help them.
We all are so fortunate.
We get new cds and dvds all the time.
Why can't we give that up one time and help give to them so that they can go to
Sunday wants to be a Doctor when he grows up, because he has seen terrible and wants
Why can't we all try?
If we don't who will?
Every war has an end.
So lets help end that war.
A fast fact.
Did you know it only takes 40 dollars to free a slave?
Last year my teachers freed 14 slaves.
Just by giving a little.
