Okay...so this might be like a continuation of that "social" crisis entry I had
before. Personally, I still think it's very weird to just go up to a profile and
judge someone by what's there. Then...the hard part.
I find out that I'm interested in the person (though only because of their profile,
which makes the whole situation iffy) and I stare at the send a message button
Can we be friends?
How are you?
Let's have a chat!
...uh...this is still so different. I always believed friends would happen in special
ways like meeting accidentally in school or at a park...or meeting that special
someone with fireworks. A fairy tale, I know, but I'm a dreamer. We have all these
websites that allow us to meet your perfect match and I wonder.... "Will I be one of
those people who will try one of those websites?"
Profiles are not always very helpful here in Kupika. D: Stuff I have seen often (even
in the 6 days I have been here):
- Does not wear glasses!
----> why does everyone HAVE to put this on their profile? Glasses can be a good
thing! (I like the office/nerd look most of the time!)
- kids that are younger than me, especially ages when they are in grammar school with
very violent pictures or "enhanced" language.
----> this just scares me.
- very LONG profiles with tons of artwork (I hope they gave credit for them or
mention they DID NOT create it), glittery graphics and youtube boxes that slow down
my laptop ;o; and packed full of photographs (I hope its of themselves and not
stolen!) that they did not bother to resize.
- very short profiles that say: sexy boi lookin for sexy gurl. leave comment.
----> Again, whatever.
I should stop complaing shouldn't I?
How do you guys get the courage to do this stuff? I am such a n00b. =_=;;
Feel free to go totally off topic with the comments to this because now I feel pretty
- raynrayn <3
But I have met so many wonderful and supportive people here so far. <3 Luff to you
