The dreamer sits on his chair

Thankful for what he's got

And he doesn't care

That his chair is his only spot

To get away and dream

The dream sits in his fancy clothes

With possessing everything

Including a nice golden robe

He's got every little thing

Right down to a perfect light bulb

The dreamer searches the streets

For a scrap of food

Dreaming up a feast

That would taste so good

The dream sits at his over-sized table

Awaiting his full-course meal

With five pieces of silverware

And a silk napkin that is real

The dreamer lays on his bed

With blankets made of rags

He dreams of a comfortable bed

That wouldn't be half bad

The dream lays in his large bed

With over-stuffed pillows

And blankets of pure cotton

But his ungratefullness

Caused him to have forgotten

The dreamer is as happy as can be

Although he's got nothing

Unlike the dream

Who can never know

What it is like

To be so low
