A Moment of Thought ~
As I travel down the road of life,
I encounter many things.
One may say that love,
has made me wish to hang.
Although merciless and sinfully tempting,
Love, as I must say has become a great wish of mine,
Always wanting and needing what many consider extraordinarily fine.
Though my years are young, small, and inexpirienced,
Even I have whitnessed the joys of love.
What have I seen?
A tear that falls willingly to catch an eye with it's glorious gleam.
The sparkling of wine that falls so wonderfully,
Into the mind of the innocent, so clumsily.
A small gesture of Incredible desperation,
for one so cold, dripping with temptation.
Though as so very pitiful, and hateful as love may seem,
It is not love, but lust that envelopes the victims in it's sickly dream.
No, never again shall I step blindly into lusts honyed path,
But only toward love's frightning, and secretly bloodied aftermath.
Life has horrified me, and pushed me to fall,
but in the darkest hours, I find love to catch me in the end after all.
Let us think purley, and with good intentions as we study love's strange and causious
because as I have seen love kill, I have watched love heal in a matter of days.
With gleaming eyes, and full to bursting hearts I have watched lovers hate,
but with tempting eyes, and betraying glances have I watched couples embrace.
Through my expirience I have tasted joys others crave,
By covering my eyes and being pulled by the brave.
Letting feelings reach out and explain where to lead.
Maybe If I hadn't, I wouldn't have been left to bleed.
Foolish am I, so young and new,
To let love yank me apart, through and through.
Oh, how I wish to forgive and forget,
All that love has scarred me with!
Have I yet to realize that to finally be catched, I must fall?
That there is the treacherous journy, before the treasure is found at all?
As I sit here in a moment of thought,
I find realization that cannent ever be bought.
One very much greater than the rest...
For Love must come at it's worst,
Before it can ever be at it's best.
