I arrived in Montréal two days ago.
It's such a nice city, my district is full of trees and squirels within, that's not
something I could be used to see where I'm usually living, near Paris, France... XD

The peoples from who I'm renting my place, a couple with a daughter are friendly. I
was awaiting some rooted quebecians (I'm not sure it's the right word! ^^' ) but the
husband is belgian with morrocians origins and the wife is french from the east of

I'm quite puzzled about the amount of people speaking english "by defaulf" over
I'd though that it was the last stronghold of french-speakingship in North America,
so I'm kinda disappointed! XD

I don't agree with the term "french canadian". "French-speaking
Canadians" would be quite more correct I think.
Are you one of them or just a "normal" Canadian?

I live a few hours away from
Montreal, and Ottawa etc.
English is the primary language..
Even when you're in Quebec, English
is spoken almost the exact same amount as French.

I was in Quebec a few months ago.
I was too surprised at the "lack" of French.
But..I still think that the French they speak in Quebec
is a big difference between "Paris French" and "Canadian French"
I suppose. xD
