A house built of bricks now so easily broken, by renounced love and goodbyes spoken. Lovers are strangers, a family no more. Words are awkward and formal, emotions raw and sore. A house once solid and safe, now crumbled and torn, just a ghost of the place their dreams and children were born. ✝ Silence rings in her ears, no one shouts here. She can breathe in the peace, she can dance without fear. The young girl walks alone, a princess explorer, the forest surrounding, holding promises for her. She finds the frame of an old, burned house, held together with vines. The broken, leaf covered walls of her palace create a world that shines in her eyes and she smiles. Here, she's in charge, of coarse. These imaginary walls are so much more stable than those shattered by her parents' divorce.
