This Song That I Won't NameCategory: Lyrics

The weakest of the weak
feed on fear.
Do you have a plan for me, too?
I already know of the destruction you seek,
and the end is always near.
I won't fear you.

I've read your lies like a bible,
every word a bloody promise.
There's more to heaven than pleasure,
more to hell than simple consequence.

When I'm emaciated,
skin and bones,
when I have more stitches than skin,
when I never sleep,
never eat, will you be satisfied then?
I won't give in.

If I resent compassion,
if I'm up to my eyes in apathy,
if I drown out all passion,
if I suffer and burn,
will you all laugh at me?

You've taught me death,
you've taught me hate,
for years I've been your prisoner,
this is my escape.

it on a horse slaughter wbsite. It's absoloutley perfect because thats

@Hollyhorsegirl

I don't think that's exactly what horses go through.... But, I could
write one about that. I've written anti-animal-cruelty things before.

You really like it? I'm a little surprised, when I wrote it I was
tired and the rhymes don't line up quite right; and I'm also kind of
surprised you've been reading my poems, but I'll just say: Thank you.

@CannibalChild
Not saying it's perfect.

But I like the imagery.
Very few of us can write with images.

Oh. Well, thank you. I love "images" in poetry, without them it's just
meaningless words. Right?

*The way to write good stories is to make them paint a picture.
*The way to create good art is to make is tell a story.
*The way to write good poetry to make it tell a story and paint a
picture.

You should read my new one, too.
