Yes. In 0.5% of the population, babies can become cannibals in the womb. It's not a danger to the mother, but the baby will need to be fed menstrual blood on a regular basis once delivered, so save the placenta and any menstruation from forthcoming cycles in your refrigerator. Then, just put it in a feeding bottle as you normally would with milk and give to your newborn. Eventually, you can start supplementing with raw ground beef, then move on to steaks as the child develops fangs and teeth. Its disturbing and weird. How the hell can I person be that retarded?

lol thats obviously a complete load of nonsense from the get go. And
yeah i saw Exquisite's diary that linked to the Answers.com posting.

how do we know its crap? from the start the very first "fact" asserted
is that .5% of the population can become cannibals or that this thing
supposedly occurs. the world population is almost 6.7 billion! 1
percent is thus what 6.7 hundred million (idk math isnt my thing lol)
and so half of that is close to 4 hundred million? like come on ok.
thats ridiculous.

More importantly, the original (dumbass) questioner to which the
answer above posted said that his gf who is pregnant isnt having her
period and asked if the baby is drinking the blood? (to which this
answer was posted)

both the question and the answer show a complete lack of understanding
of basic biology and physiology. the blood from a menstrual cycle
occurs due to the shredding and flaking of the liner cells in the
uterus as the old egg cell is discarded and in preparation for a new
cycle and ovulation in order to have fertilization and ultimately
pregnancy. But during pregnancy (unless there is some very unusual
thing happening) a woman's natural hormones temporarily holds up
ovulation and further menstrual cycles so girls do not have their
periods during pregnancy. that is the reason theres no blood not
because the baby is "drinking it"

furthermore the baby is self-contained in an amneniotic sac and only
very tiny blood fractions, not even whole red blood cells, passes
through the placental barrier from mother to fetus and that is part of
her circulatory system not blood from her uterine lining.

stuff like this is when the reader just needs to use a bit of common
sense and cynicism
