If s book is turned into a movie then it should at least follow the plot. If it
doesn't follow the plot then it's not the book. In fact, I think it would be better
if books and movies are not connected. Twilight only became popular after it was
announced that a movie would be made. The same thing with Happy Potter. This just
makes me really annoyed. I mean if people want to make a movie about a book they
should either follow the plot right or make it just 'based' on the book. It wouldn't
follow the plot and they can change a few things here and there but is not the book
itself. Another thing that falls under this subject would be the actors. Okay really
they have lives and need jobs like everyone else right? If they take this role they
have to stay for so many movies and can never get another job after that because
people just think of them as Harry Potter or Edward Cullen. No! That's not right!
they are not just Harry Potter and Edward Cullen they are Daniel Radcliff and Robert
Pattinson. Give them a break! If someone doesn't want to do the movie because they
will end up like one of those people don't get mad. It's your fault they decided this
in the first place.

Note: This is my opinion. You are open to add your opinion as well but please do not
bitch to me about how I'm wrong.

Actually, they all say "Based on the book -title- by -authors name-"
at the begining.

I understand where you're coming from and I agree but I think that
the reason why they change so much of the plot is so that they can fit
it within their budget.

My Sister's Keeper is a prime example of this. All of a sudden it's
the hugest thing in the world, with books flying off shelves, but
seriously... had anyone even heard of it before the movie?

It was a really good book though...
