I bring you my un-Doctor Who-slash-Torchwood diary.
It's my birthday in just over a month, so we've been thinking about what I want.
Originally we were going to Paris with school and the paying for that was my present,
but now we're not so I've been thinking. We're not going, by the way, because there
wasn't enough interest in it by people at my school so, postponment.
We've been looking at the stuff on at the theatres, because I want to go see a show
for my birthday. My Grandma's money is paying for me to go see Secrets (Adaption of a
Jacqueline Wilson book) for my birthday, but I have two choices for other things I
want. Keep in mind this isn't confirmed, but this is what I want at the moment.
Oliver! ~ Alas, it won't be the one from I'd Do Anything, but it's still Oliver!,
which is one of my favourite musicals (Along with Lestat and Chicago. Lestat is
better though) and my current musical obsession.
Mad About The Musicals ~ This is, as far as I can glean, a medley of songs from
musicals (Over twenty five) very like the Broadway Bonanza that our school did. I
remember because Robyn had to sing part of Greased Lightning. It will probably have
songs from Evita, Greased, Phantom etc. But also some songs I don't know.
I'm leaning towards Oliver! at the moment, but I'm not totally sure. I've got a while
to decide anyway, because my birthday's still pretty far away.
Because people have a hard choice choosing what to buy me I think I'll ask for the
money, that way I can start building up other things I need. Including more canvases
because I've only got one left, and I only used two for myself. I painted my mum a
Gothic Lolita Angel And Devil for Christmas and her birthday respectively, and for my
dad's birthday I painted him three Eddies (mascot of Iron Maiden) on one of my larger
canvases. I have for me, one of Mint that is hanging in my bedroom between my Buffy
posters, and one of a girl at a wedding I think I'll give to my Grandma.
School today was okay ~ I was repeatedly told that I and Jo would make a cute couple
because we're both full of interesting and unusual facts (Well, the exact wording was
useless information) and I had to be his partner in Science. I'm scared of Bunsen
Burners and we spent most of the lesson trying to fold a circular piece of paper into
a cone shape. I.E me and Jo make not good partners in science.
I worked with Harriet in R.E, and we were doing the story of Cameron (A fourteen year
old boy whose mum drinks too much and whose dad is rarely ever home.) Unfortunately,
there happens to be a boy named Cameron in our form group. . .
DOuble English was a speaking and listening assesment in the form of a fun task about
desert islands. I just wrote a speech and spoke very little, although I was given a
leadership role. Sigh. Socialising more then I have to is a pet hate of mine.
In ACE all we did was sit in a cirle for circle time (I got my hair caught in a table
- oww) and talk about what we disliked in the class, and who caused these
disturbances. Then Mrs Clarkson (Yes, I get the irony fellow
Top-Gear-On-The-Brain-Syndrome sufferers) showed us some pictures from her trip to
New York with Lizzie - they went to see Hairspray on Broadway.
All in all, just a day. No idea why I've written all this and struggling for a title,
but a day.
Blood and Lufflez,
