10:45:55 PM (GMT)
So, I decided I would try out polyphasic sleep, this is my new sleeping schedule:
Core sleep at 4:50-7:50AM (3 hrs)
Nap one at 12:50PM
Nap two at 6:10PM
Nap three at 11:30PM
It'll take me a while to get used to it, but many testimonials have said that it's
pretty awesome (not as awesome as having 6 lots of 20 minute naps a day, but still).
It's the getting used to it bit that worries me. I have a three day weekend coming
up, so that should help, but today (Wednesday) and tomorrow (Thursday) are going to
be difficult. Not amazingly difficult, since Thursday I finish early and go in late,
but yeah, not happy. So wish me luck! I'll be diarying my progress in here.
It's 3:40 now. I'm feeling quite tired... and I am very much looking forwards to my
core sleep at 4:50. I have everything prepared. I've rigged my bedsidelamp to switch
on at 7:45, and my alarm clock to go off at 7:50. That _should_ be enough. If not, I
expect my family will wake me up.
Sleeping at school will be interesting I'm sure... luckily I have a set of keys, so I
can get into most places and take my nap. Hopefully I won't oversleep and stumble,
confused and disorientated, out of a cupboard and into a lesson. If so, my plan is to
say nothing, look for the nearest exit, and walk out without a word. Should be
amusing (if slightly disconcerting) for them.
Argh, still 3:45.. I want to sleep!
