I'm so dead... so so sooooo dead.
I'm starting to think I screwed up my Chinese oral exam T~T
The question was this : "Most Teenagers nowadays have their earphones on while
crossing the road. What are your views?"
I was like O.O?
Momentarily stunned, I had NO idea what to say.
I was so nervous and rambled about really stupid things like "Oh! It's dangerous, not
aware of surroundings like that...yeah.. it's dangerous" or even "I think it would be
alright if we are more alert though" and "They probably felt bored so listening to
the music while they are on the go entertains them."
Argh.... what was I saying?!
I should have said something more logical like "With those earphones on, we wouldn't
be able to hear the horn of the car warning us that it's coming near and thus an
accident might occur. Hence, I suggest that while crossing the road, we should
probably turn off the music or set it to a lower volume first."
Why did I only think of that answer AFTER the exam?! T~T
Please please please let me get my 30/40 marks T~T
Hope I did well in other sections...
Great, there goes my distinction for Chinese...hmph
