The First Day of High SchoolCategory: (general)

So... how was your first day bakc at school? I started high school today...

Mine was okay - great, actually, except for the bus. I am the last stop on the
route, and the only one on my stop as well, so I was stuck sitting alone at the
front. Bleck, I am totally not that kind of person.
I talked to a couple of new people, one of whom was an annoying, Hollister-wearing,
air-headed rich kid, the other of whom had major social anxiety, was panicky every
time a teacher spoke to her and can never open her lock despite knowing the
combination, and the final of whom I hop to actually become friends with. She just
asked me if I was new and I said I was, and then I asked her what her first class
was. We were both in drama, so we walked in together and sat down beside each other.
 It worked out well.
However, the whole thing felt like an out-of-body, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
It still hasn't quite sunken in yet thatfrom now on, this is how I am going to attend
school and these will be my teachers.

Ooh, and we're reading 'Romeo and Juliet' in English, which is exciting, although
I'd rather read 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. Later, we're going to start 'Lord of
the Flies.'

I know, it hasn't sunken in for me either!

Yeah,I wish we were reading midsummernights dream, but whatever. xD
We get to at some point I think.
Our english teacher is strict. :|

I read 'a midsummer night's dream' last year. It was hilarious. Good
luck with Romeo and Juliet. If any girls at your school are like the
ones here, they'll be gushing about the 'forbidden romance'.

Edit: Panicky Girl is actually very nice. We haven't started Romeo
and Juliet yet because we have to study some crap about women's
rights. There is an extremely annoying and nerdy kid who sits behind
me in English. Please don't take that offensively - he's not a nerd
in that he's smart and actually does his homework... I'M that
kind of nerd. He's a nerd in that he raises his hand and goes "Sir, I
would like to respond to the question please..." and even when he asks
a question, he speaks as though he knows he's 100% right at all times.
And he wears sweater vests and dress pants when he's not in uniform.
But it's all good, cause I intimidate the crap out of him.

I rather like sweater vests on guys... It's better then them wearing
muscle shirts >.< bleck. I'm glad Panicky Girl is nice though, and I'm
glad you're liking highschool! (I'm failing to imagine you being scary
though...) Would you like me to make an entry like this too?

Hey, which girl from drama is it? Veronica? And, i totally know how
you feel!!!!! It's so weird.
BTW, i read midsummer night's dream, and it's not that good. i'd much
rather see the play.

Emsee... you are kinda scary, and that nerdy guy is pretty nice. A
girl in my gym class went to school with him and she says he's always
been like that.

(just read all other comments) Emsee, you are kinda scary to people
who don't know you... and that nred guy is really nice. A girl in my
gym class went to elementary school w. him and she says he was always
like that.

I'm not scary; I'm independant and confident. There's a difference.

And being nice is not all that matters when it comes to judging a
person - they have to have character, which he does not.
