I'm not trying to dis religion or anything, but...Category: (general)

Who actually believes that there is someone who "created" the whole world, and
i mean honestly, no one can do that, its just scientifically impossible.
Not to mention the fact that its not possible to be "Resurrected" after 3 days.
Plus the fact that not one thing in the bible has been proven, but dinosaur
fossils have.
They even predate the bible, and what about the "cavemen" ?

Christianity copied the Pagans and the ancient Egyptians. There is concrete proof.
The concepts are the same.

well, that's my rant for today lol...
watch Zeitheist... all of this is proven.
It's really neat actually.

Again, not trying to dis religion, but just think about it , would ya?

I'm not sure I agree with your idea of 'proof'. After all, even
things like the Big Bang theory are...just theories.

Who says the two can't both be true? I believe in both. It's perfectly
possible that God started the Big Bang. If nobody can create the
world, how can the whole universe, its precision, the way we have two
genders and can reproduce, the different species of animals, giant
hills and deep seas...come from absolutely nothing? By CHANCE? They
both make as much sense as each other, if I'm honest.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say that dinosaurs don't exist - why
are they a different species? If you count them in with reptiles
(which they were) then there's no reason to say that the Bible
discounts dinosaurs...or dinosaurs discount the Bible.

Mind if I say something?

I believe the earth was created by God. The reason why nobody
could create an earth is because they aren't God.

And for it being proven, you can find more evidence that Jesus Christ
existed then you could for Julius Ceaser.
And besides, there are two kinds of "proof". One kind of proof is
Gravity, for example. I can prove that if I let go of a ball, it'll
fall. But then there's "Proof" from millions of years ago. The
scientists can't prove anything, because they weren't actually
there. They can only make educated guesses. Then people believe
this is what happen. That's what's called FAITH.

Cavemen? You can't prove they existed either. And for some odd-shaped
skelatons, it could just be a mis-formed gorrila. And if things like
Evolution DID exist, how come we aren't coming across millions of
fossils showing the process? I mean, one or two doesn't prove
anything, but MILLIONS...

For Christianity copying, did you think that the Pagens and the
Egyptions copied Christianity? Or it could be a possibly big

Just giving my debate to everything you said. :L

@lyncheh- i don't believe the big bang.
they didn't come from nothing, they evolved from something,, i have no
idea what, but there's no way "god" could have just been like hey, i
need a world, and if there was no world, where is he from?

i didnt say the bible disproved dinos, but they do disprove it, they
predate when "jesus" was "born"
fefeFATALITY says:   29 May 2009   992948
"jesus" may have existed, but theres no documentary of a dude walking
around healing people, its just an easy theory to explain everything.

i didn;t say actual cavemen, but "cavemen" what people call the first
forms of life that predate "god" and the bible.

the egyptians were THOUSANDS of years before Christianity even
started, so thats impossible.

you're fine :D

To the two above who are argueing with Fefe:
I side with Fefe on this one. In the bible, it says that "God" created
Adam and Eve. It mentions nothing about dinosaurs, although it has
been proven that dinosaurs existed. Personally, I see "God" and all of
that to be a load of bullshit. It can't be proven. Hell, for all we
know, the bible could have been made by a guy in an asylum somewhere
who was actually hallucinating and believed that it was a so-called
"God" that took over his mind and wrote it through him when in reality
he was just going insane.

To Fefe:
I agree, sis!
Lyncheh says:   29 May 2009   942538
^ Actually, it does mention the various lifeforms being
created...INCLUDING REPTILES...read Genesis. First chapter in the
Bible. Honestly. Try pulling that with someone who hasn't read it. ><

But you're right. It could have been written by mad MEN (it wasn't one
guy who wrote the Bible, LOL. There were many, many authors). I agree.
But scientists could be mad, no? Scientists used to think the earth
was flat and the sun revolved around the earth. But there you go. :B

It's not an 'argument'. It's called a debate. xD

thanks emilie :D

and snakes have nothing to do with dinos.
‹< Dragon-tamer-1995 >› says:   30 May 2009   489167
Dinosaurs are considered reptiles, because of dinosaur eggs that have
been dug up, and snakes lay eggs to, and is a reptile, so actually,
they do have a few similarities. But then again, birds lay eggs too,
but we don't have any evidence that all the dinosaurs had feathers...

Oh, C'mon, you think that everything in the earth came from NOTHING?
SOMETHING had to start. Everything that humans are are simply too
complex to be made from a single cell.
We're all beautifully and wonderfully made, as says so in the bible.

And I honestly can't see how Christianity copied Egypt. I don't see
any concepts that are the same. God has specifically said not to
worship idols, and yet, I'm pretty sure the Egyptians made
statues/idols of all their gods. <-- Note that the bible says there's
only one real god, and I said GODS plural. They also considered their
ruler, the pharaoh, a god, which was completely FALSE, for as I said
before, nobody on earth is god. (Well, with the exception of Jesus,
but you won't probably believe me. :L)

They worshipped their god(s) very differently too. Before Jesus came,
they actually were a bit similar. They both gave offerings, trying to
please their god(s). But lots of people overlook this, Christianity is
the ONLY religion where you don't have to do anything to get on God's
good side. (I mean, you don't have to do nice things to be considered
to go to Heaven.)

But I'm not sure how much longer I can go with this debate, I have my
life to contend to. :B

Your arguments are so absolutely contradictory it actually bothers
I don't have a religion, but in defense of Christianity and the
There was no "someone" who created the world. If there is a God I like
to believe that he or she is a sort of presence rather than a person
or a someone.
That's just what I think, at least.
Second, there most definitely was a Jesus and it has been proven.
Whether or not he actually rose from the dead, healed people, and that
sort of thing isn't concrete but there was a man who spread his
religious beliefs like him and created Christianity (I'm doing a very
bad job of describing him). Also, the way you describe Jesus is almost
as if he were the first living organism on earth. Obviously he wasn't.
There obviously could have been dinosaurs and cavemen and the like
before him.
Third, if there was no God to create the world and there was no Big
Bang to create the world, then what made the world? Something happened
somewhere in the universe that created the planets and the stars and
specifically balanced the Earth so that our planet was capable of
providing life. I agree with Lyncheh that there is no proof of
anything having to do with how the very ground you stand on was
created, so why not believe a God put it there?

And lastly, the truth is that the Bible has always been people's
interpretations of the world and of God. God did not write a Bible
and send it down to earth all wrapped in ribbon saying "this is the
truth bitches".

it is scientifically impossible...........for a human.
God is NOT a human and has all the power of the universe including the
angels. And, well, it is very hard to get proof if it isn't about a
human kind or animals or sumthing like that, I bet U cldn't find
anything becos...well, becos.

Im not trying to be rude or anything but. I belive God created the
Earth. And he wasnt just a man, and they have proof from the Bible and
they are finding the proff still today. Im just saying because it's
the truth. Im not trying to hurt anyones feelings or mess with your
belifs. But if you want to know more abotu God and the Bible then you
just message me and I'll tell you everything you need to know. Ive
read the Bible 2 times going on 3 already. I know the Bible.
