So... "To a Person"? That situation's going well. The following is a snippet of our
conversation today.

Me: My eyes and brain hurt so...
I've closed off the world, left in myself.
      Remembering, wondering, imagining.
What's been, why it was, and what might be.

Him: That is amazing

Me: A part of me beside myself,
      A darkness deep inside.
      A melody I've never heard,
      This "love" I've never tried.
How to approach, I'll never know,
      I'm stuck upon the ride.
But I don't really want to leave,
      In it I safe abide.

Him: How do you do this!?!?!?!

Me: "A problem, sir?" the girl remarked, a smile upon her face.
"I'm merely writing as I go, before the words do fade.
"Poetry is not your thing, this I do understand,
"But at times it comes quite naturally, like holding someone's hand."

Him: If you're trying to make me fall for you, its working

To think on what you've read.
And now, perhaps, to write YOUR poem,
      I've much looked forward to.
Now you see how simple it is
Writing words in sets of truth.

Him: The rhyming is so amazing!
Uh... give me like a week

Me: Haha, take your time.
Oh, and thank you kindly for the compliments.

Him: You deserve em!

Me: Why thank you, sir.
If you'd like more, I can easily go back to talking in verse... Or send some of my
earlier ones.

Him: Do what you want, I'll just sit here in awe

Me: My darling boy, I will recall how much you like my poems.
So in the future, remind me, I'll write you many more.
Now to put down Alice's tales and find some of my own...
Ah! Here's one that you might enjoy. Unfinished but not alone.

Him: Haha

For the rest of you, well, you might see that poem when I'm satisfied with its
